Then they should have push that direction earlier. The frustration comes with having the main couple not even become a couple until the very very very end of the show. If that is where they are going then it should have happened two episodes ago.. so we could get at least one full episode of the mc being together and not like the last 10 minutes of the last episode. Feels like the pacing is an issue to me. (and I seriously was loving this show)

I agree that they should have ditched the no dating part of the show. It really felt pointless. I'm a big fan of enemies to lovers so I would have been perfectly fine just going that route. I don't think it would be as frustrating if the show was maybe double the length and had more time to progress. But because it's so short it just doesn't make sense and causes a big rush at the end.

I was really loving this damn show.. loved the chemistry and acting. I didnt mind the slow progression bc like you said it didnt feel forced and was actually really nice seeing them slowly come to understand each other .. but this last episode.. I was grumbling to myself the whole time. I hate hate hate hate when they have the main couple get together in the last 10 minutes.

I can't think of a single Taiwanese bl that has ever done a special episode and I can't think of one that had a second season either... and that HURTS MY SOUL to say b/c I'd beg and wish for that.

lol I would! That ex gives major manipulation and fake/not nice person vibes. I mean if the ex seemed like an actual nice person then yes please I'd love a show to have a poly relationship. But I will REVOLT if they guy gets involved man hahaha REVOLT I say!!

AHHHH... I've been loving this show, but this last episode just made me so frustrated. There is ONE... ONEEEE episode left and they spent the whole time on the ex. This show isn't long enough to do that. If it were double the length then focusing a bit on the ex wouldn't be so damn annoying.

Slow progression of a main couple can be nice, but its just so tiring when shows have them get together RIGHT at the end. I want at least two full episodes of them as a couple... but it feels like it will be in the last 10 minutes. Sigh. Why why.. so much potential, such great chemistry, nice acting but but but but sooooo frustrated. *Deep Breaths*

Exactly! I'm loving the acting and chemistry of everyone, but there is only ONE more episode left! If this show was double the length then I wouldn't mind the slow progression of the main couple at all... but I also hateeee the idea of them getting together the last 10 minute of the episode.

They are filming while airing (which isn't uncommon) but new covid restrictions and quarantines have pushed everything completely off track.

I completely agree! I'd totally rather have been Satha playing music over the extra scenes they picked. It really feels like to me if they actually cut those long unnecessary scenes it would flow better and be more enjoyable but probably too short. (I also agree with jamming to much towards the end being a concern)

I've watched a very wide variety quality wise of shows... so this isn't like absolutely awful to me.. I've watched worst and stuck with them.. so haha yeah I'm gonna keep watching b/c I want to see where it goes. I'm intrigued with the couple.. I just want MORE of them!

I never once thought they would be actually blood related. I agree the first episode confirmed this with the flash forward (I used that as my main reason when I was putting people at ease about it haha) Step brothers is already iffy with people... they would lose to many viewers if they made them actually blood related.

LOL I know! Step brothers is already so polarizing.. I knew they would never do actual half brothers.. that would lose too many viewers. I felt like I was constantly putting people at ease in the comments and the insta comments... "Don't worry... they won't be blood related!!"

I'm enjoying it, but don't expect some super high tier show.

I haven't started this show or anything at all.. just wanted to look it up since I saw the show page on Viki and was curious... no proper subbing?? Viki has 100% finished subs up to episode 22..??

I think they just don't have enough material in the script so the editing and pacing feels off b/c so many scenes that have no purpose are so long. Feels like they need to majorly trim and cut away, but I don't think they can b/c they didnt flesh out the story enough.

I agree. I really like the general story and bones, but they obviously don't have enough material in the script. Too many unnecessary scenes that last too long. I really wish they just focus solely on the main CP for such a short show and cut out the scenes that don't really add to the story at all.

This show is an example of what happens when there isn't enough material... they are forced to make unnecessary scenes (as in they dont really add anything or much to the story) far too long. Too many scenes should have been fully cut or severely cut down and the main CP should have more story progression in some way. The main CP has barely any screen time together and it's already episode 3. (EDIT: I realized I'm behind an episode.. about to watch ep 4... )

I really like the general bones of this... I like the idea of it more than the actual execution. It really need to be fleshed out more. Will I keep watching?.. yeah probably b/c I want to see the main cp actually get somewhere...
