I'm glad you're enjoying it but if a book needs to be read for a TV show to make sense (or to excuse the poor…
The major problem in Keau and Lian's relationship is confidence .. the miscommunication is coming from their insecurity in their relationship from both of them hiding major parts of themselves from each other and their own families. And Lian and Keau's family are over protective of Keau. It's fine if you dont agree but to me the miscommunication makes sense within the story.
Well the land deed is gong to be something if the theories that Keau's family is going through bankruptcy... pretty big issue to the overall story. Keau's personality is insecure, over analyze with a strong imagination. He's insecure in their relationship and already knows people could use him for his family. Keau's family didnt even tell him his grandfather was sick to protect him.. they keep him out of everything and Lian is very protective also. It makes sense for Lian's character to hold back this information.
Also I wasnt talking about YOU or people voicing issues they find. I'm NOT talking about ppl who aren't feeling it or have criticisms I'm talking about ppl who flood the comment section just to say they think its trash over and over or ppl who have already dropped it but only come here to again say its trash. It just gets to the point if ppl still hate a show when we are almost at ep 10. Why keep coming just to say they hate it til the very end... that's all I was saying.

I was totally enjoying the show before they even added the spice if that's the fan service you mean? To me this show plays very very much like a romance novel. The romantic relationships being the BIGGEST driving force and focus.
As for miscommunication that is kinda the purpose of all romantic comedies. In almost all shows "If they just talked..." they would all end at ep 1. To me the story is about them discovering each other.
This is actually what I was expecting from the trailers and promos before release. I dont think it ever promised to have no university life.. actually the trailers showed Keau at university... The very first promo did give the impression of more of an arranged marriage but stuff after showed made it seem less a real or strict arranged marriage.
I can understand maybe expecting something different and then being disappointed but by episode 10 if ppl still are disliking it (which is fine of course) but only coming to comment over and over about how much they think it's trash.. it just kinda saps the fun out for anyone having fun watching. I just kinda wish ppl occasionally used the discussion/forum part of this page if they just wanna rant.
This show makes me happy. I like how they are often talking about the need of legalizing same sex marriage with all that is happening in Thailand at the moment.
I also like how Keau and Lian are actually having conversations and learning about each other (loved Lian telling Keau about when he was young and not being rich etc)
This show really feels like a romance novel and I'm loving that.
How does something with a synopsis like this even get funding? Is there a sizeable ten year-old segment among…
I dunno I've read a lot of shifter romance novels in my life. This just feels like a more cutesy version of that. It's not just a random house cat turning into a human, but like a type of shifter. Maybe just not your thing. I'm super curious how it will go myself though.
are they the same as in the trailer ? because the main characters is called phayu and the synopsis doesn't look…
Yeah it doesnt.. I wonder if the trailer just didnt show us any actual story part or if the synopsis it wrong.. I think they said it was based on a novel?? maybe they just took the synopsis from that?
I am not so sure Bad Buddy has much to do with it, but it could be the overall improvement of BL in recent years…
I've just seen a lot of mentions of Bad Buddy during its weeks of airing. I'm by no means saying this is the biggest reason .. it just something I've noticed.
I personally found this show very enjoyable. I feel like ppl are being a bit hard on it *partly* because it followed Bad Buddy. I get not all shows are for everyone, but still.
I actually liked the drama/angst in the last episode .. I just wish it happened in an episode earlier so the last episode wasn't completely consumed by it though.
At first the second hand embarrassment and how much Toh went overboard made me kinda cringe and laugh sometimes. I think it's gotta way easier to handle... the creepy stuff Toh use to do it less and makes it more fun to watch.
And Billy and Seng have such amazing chemistry. They just never look stiff or uncomfortable with each other.
The more episodes.. the more I'm convinced Enchante is the same as the novel (I have not read it, but ppl who have have said how it is in the book).. which I personally hope for and really like.

First episode on official YouTube: https://youtu.be/-XxIQL4K2tY
I think this one will not be for ppl tired of university stories though.
