I think this drama is quite realistic and while Qingyu's parents did wrong, they are quite pitiful, particularly her mother. The mother's acting is really great. I watched her in RESET and it still give a strong impression of her deep acting.
I jumped in as soon as I read Zhang Wan Yi was in the cast. I have been checking his works since I found him in LSY. His stellar acting got me hooked. Currently watching The Bond as well.
I just finished the novel and I had bucket of tear. I totally agree that Dengwei portray Jing so well or another…
same here. I cried a lot reading the novel. I can't put it down after I started reading. I don't read the sequence of the novel. I am currently reading another novel from the same author (Da Mo Yao). I can say that LSY is much better in terms of story, plot, writing style.
Currently rewatching the drama after finished reading the novel. DengWei portrayed Jing perfectly. It's like seeing the real version of Jing from the novel. People said Jing's character is boring, but the novel writer must have her reasons for creating such character and how the so-called boring character could win over our FL. I respect the writer's reasons and it's all reasonable. I also respect her reasons for creating such an abusive character of XL and a complicated mind like CX. I think the writer wanted to describe how complicated human's feeling are. As for myself, I have been shipping YaoJing from the beginning and I would choose Jing too If I were XY. Honestly, I can't help but skipping all XL's part in my current rewatching. Engaging with 'bad boy' might rush your adrenaline and enliven your adventurous side, but it won't last forever. At the end if the day you will need someone with a stable character and could accommodate your flawed character.
Can someone share about the comments on Zhang Wan Yi's performance in the drama? Nothing much is said about him.…
although DengWei was the one who attracted me into this drama, Chang Xuan role is my favorite. Zhang WanYi (i memorize his name now) is really perfect for the role. His facial expressions really captivated me. His ability to portray so many complicated emotions is worthy of a Daesang (sorry for using kdrama term). I can a write an essay on why he deserves the grand prize of the award, particularly during the relapse of his addiction. Man, that was amazing. Again ep.31 reminded me why I liked his character in the first place. He conveys the message very well. His speech to Fenglong and Xinyue could even made me shudder. btw, I am YaoJing all the way.
WanYi is an extraordinary actor. His role in this drama is probably very challenging as much as FL - many heavy…
The main reason I switched to Cdrama was because I've been studying in a chinese speaking country. It was difficult for me to switch as most of cdrama on nfx were really boring. the drama that made me able to switch was 'Go ahead'. Since that I've been exploring cdramas and now I found kdramas are quite monotonius, same topics over and over again. also kdramas now tried so hard to fit western style which made them lose their originality and uniqueness .
Okay, here I am again with my ramblings. As I mentioned before although DengWei was the one who attracted me into this drama, Chang Xuan role is my favorite. That's aside, I like how the drama reminded us that even though XY spent 37 years with XL , it's the mentioned of TSJ that triggered her consciousness. She even went to find TSJ first before meeting her beloved brother that already prepared everything for her. "I like you when you are the wolf"😍 me too🥰
I don’t get why people are saying they like XL but he’s my most hated character in this show. I always have…
couldn't agree more. I found the one who got why i disliked it every time XL appear on the screen. yeah, we should stop romanticizing this kind of characters.
btw, I am YaoJing all the way.
