I really like Li Hong Yi so I wanted to like this title but it is just trite and over or underacted. I find the FL annoying beyond words another one of those naive childlike types that irritate the heck out of me in these dramas. It is especially annoying after having watched Love in the Clouds, Fated Hearts and Legend of the Female General where all the FLs were smart, fierce, funny, witty with grit and courage of their own and no need to be rescued. Maybe she develops some spine or character later on in the series but I cannot be bothered with the slog to get there. Also the production values are not great so that is just adding insult to injury. There are so many good series out there now these less good ones can be left for a rainy day.
