So here I am agonizing about the uocoming revenge arc. Based on what i’ve read here, the trailers, and the novel, heartache is inevitable.

If you were Shaoshang, and Ling Buyi executes his revenge the day before your wedding (basically saying you’re not as important as his vengeance), would you forgive him?

Or being Shaoshang, who herself said that if they hurt her, she would hurt them back more, wouldn’t you do your best to love someone else well, knowing this will be the most painful revenge she can inflict on Ling Buyi?

In ep 28, When he tells her there is no way he will let her go, and that he won’t ever cancel the marriage, my heart goes thumpety thump.

Its like the director, the production staff, and our great actors know exactly how to make us viewers swoon.:)
