true.. she was ready to die, but he wouldn't let her. to be loved liked that.. that's why the series is so fascinating. we're not spoon fed. rather we need to digest and reflect:)

this is the first drama i had sleepless nights agonizing if they'd be alive and together at the end.. have you been able to move on yet? i've been trying, but i couldn't. tlb is just too good...

yes, she did tell a'sun she might not be present the next time the fireflies come. its like she was expecting to die..

still, if she hadn't followed through on yicheng's plan, there wouldn't have been an opportunity for sher to capture a'sun's mom. for me, if she had just thought things through, the tragedy would have been avoided.. but that would have been a totally different story. as it is, the events are integral to the plot, giving way for her to 'grow up':)

I totally agree with you. TLB needs to be digested to be thoroughly enjoyed. It is easy to miss the nuances in their expressions when you have to focus on the screen and the subs at the same time:)

Hmmm, in retrospect, this paints a whole new picture about how much he loves her unconditionally. He’s even more of the ideal now. even knowing her shortcomings, he still accepts her and doesnt blame her for the death of his stepmom.

correct me if i'm wrong, but i think she neither considered the wolf or the eagle division when she did that. she just wanted to save Louyi general? that is why a' sun was so angry with her for not thinking about the consequences, or the people involved?

@dragnelia when she chose to go to with sher after he fought for her, i think she referred to it as betraying him in ep 28? maybe lost in translation:)

i would have preferred to see them together in the last scene, but knowing them, it's impossible for them not to end up together. they're willing to give up their lives to save the other.

as early as episode 5, ashile sun was falling for changge. he's loved her early and been through much uncertainty so i doubt he would let her go once he caught her. as for changge, ep 48 says it all.

i understand the ending though. he knows that he can't cage her, and lets her be herself. must have been painful that time she betrayed him in ep 23, but still, he chose to understand and not blame her.

i almost envy changge because of the way he loves her.

even if they're not in the same area at the ending of the movie, we can all safely assume that they're together. a' sun won't let go. he's chased after her so many times in the past. changge won't either, after all the times she's saved him. i'm just happy for them. wish there could be an extra episode. with their little ones.:)

the next scene after the eagle is from the manhua. just before the page turns, they're drawn side by side. i'll assume they're together..
