at the end of the day i feel like it is more of a parasocial-fan thing to THIS upset abt the show. ppl are upset that their faves didn't get a solo show which gets praised and that they had to share screen time. i bet ppl would have praised the exact same plots/story if it was given as solo

even rn im watching the safe zone cause i was intrigued by the actresses and whatever episodes i have seen are so bad, bad and inconsistent plot and even bad editing yet ppl are praising it and giving it a lot more grace

they could have used this to show a more nuanced view of how the class difference between people affect their relationships. praew would understand min prioritizing her work cause she is also like min, they are just starting their careers and they can't afford take leaves. bambi is rich and has connections and privileges, she does not have to struggle as much as the rest do so for her its not a question of livelihood. so she has more time to invest in a relationship and spent 24/7 with her partner. prim actually can't afford to take all this time off but instead of communicating it or finding another solution she gives into her fear of loosing bambi.

its fine, different ppl interpret things in different ways. for me in the trailer they showed so much bickering but as we know that only lasted for one episode. now this show has become like every other gl for me. rn i don't feel like wine is trying to push lal away in anyway, infact i feel like she giving in too much for a person who is so scared for her career. my problem with most shows with a fixed pairing is that shows drift away from a plot and only have the show to show scenes with the pairs acting like a couple and that's exactly whats happening here in the show for me. lal and wine are head over heels for each other and are practically in love without any resistance. no getting to know each other or anything, they will straight up do anything for each other rn, just like most of the shows

from the trailer it felt like a setup to introduce ewb like "u know abt fwb right, we are ewb". in the trailer they use all the parts where lal and wine are clashing. a good majority of the trailer is them not getting along so they were clearly marketing it as a ewb. and rn there is nothing. the scenes between them are cute but there is no build up or no conflict to their feelings. its more like love at first sight or love after one night stand. they are completely into each other and would go out of their way for each other without any building of a relationship

is it that surprising when ppl expect enemies with benefits from a show named and marketed as 'enemies with benefits'???the pilot trailer also showed them still having friction in the office. they are not even fwb rn, the are completely a couple

janjingjing are great actors and have great chemistry but come on!!!! their couple scenes ARE CUTE but whats the point of it if there is no build up or a story to it.

im disappointed. when they announced this show i expected actual enemies with benefits but here we have them already liking each other within ep 1 and they are basically married within ep 4. the small amount of banter we saw in ep 1 was delicious but then we completely extinguish it. lal and wine were not even enemies at any point. wine was not even being too strict, she was just competent in her job and lal knew that. after their one night stand they immediately like each other and become friends with benefits and now they are literally a couple. there is no stakes. i was expecting to see them clash, hate each other yet be attracted to each other, fight in office but love each other in secret, have mixed feelings, slowly learn stuff about each other and fall for each other. but by now they are basically in love with each other. no conflict, no surprise nothing

their dating would always be a plot point in this type of drama but i feel like its being overdone here. they just starting dating and its one problem after the another. all these problems should have come all together/her hug with the vp should not have been exposed instead it should have been her current relationship. maybe all of this issues could have been handled in a 16 ep series but to think that only 2 more eps are left and their relationship is only going to be exposed in the next one and the current issues are not even solved is crazy

A Jeong's reasoning and everything is just too much and just too cliche. when she was living with Ki Jun she seemed sensible and fun. isn't she a woman living in a modern world? doesn't she already know that a rich guy falling for his secretary is just something which happens in drams?? doesn't she have the common sense to know that whatever happens she will always be in the loss because of the power imbalance??
