she might be spending a lot of time not eating. surgeries do take hours and we see her spending time thinking abt it, so we can infer that she might not be eating meals at correct times.

i hope the girls get to sing for the soundtracks. u have good singers like aye, don't ignore her for other subpar singers

pls give bonnie a non singer role for their next series. i get that she can sing but come on, these ppl are supposed to be actors. they should be catering to the script instead of the script being written to their irl dynamics

I feel like insisting on actors breaching out cause every reason ppl give on not liking this show is present for almost all gls. i didn't like this show too, im on the side which doesn't like it but im surprised at the audience. US, love design and even 4 elements getting praised to the sky and back when to me they are weak shows with even weaker character development. That's where i feel the disconnect. This show is the same as many other gls so why this sudden attention to character development which is not there for other shows.

And see, i feel like ppl are proving my point with EllieJay. EllieJay was a nothingburger, there was nothing interesting abt it. Would that character even exist if film didn't have a fixed pair? Would ppl have called the character or dynamic interesting if it was played by someone else? That character was just a lazy decision in my eyes. Don't have a story for a character to grow- throw in their fixed pair.

Many gls have shit writing, tbh only pluto has a solid story imo and even then it has its own issues. I just don't see why ppl care abt shit writing when it comes to these two shows but not the others

the characters weren't deeply explored in us either to me so

see i feel the same way abt us and moonshadow and almost all the gls out there. even in us i did not find a reason why they had this big feelings for each other. i feel the same way abt chan and pam. we get to know pam only a little bit and after that all we see abt her is their relationship. same here (and most gls too). almost all of these characters can be interchanged and their will not be drastic differences

for me both us and this show have weak characters but i don't see why ppl are specifically mad at this. but when i look at the big picture and look at the most disliked series of this year, us and girl rules the common thing seems to be the fact that the actors branch out of their pairs. add to that the hate film gets for 'taking up screentime' and the love elliejay get by doing absolutely nothing makes me think ppl are internally upset for not getting emibonnie as a lovey dovey pair

honestly im surprised that the audience hated this show. the things they hate abt this show is the same things i hate abt many beloved gls, like US for example. The issues in this show are present in almost every gl. in US too, the story is repetitive and there isn't much of a plot. The initial conflict of her character having a crush on her brother's gf is solved quickly and the rest of the series has basically nothing. i wonder why ppl hate this and girl rules specifically. maybe its cause there is moments where the leads explore beyond their pairs?

i agree chan and key are moving too fast and we don't see a reason why they like each other but im surprised at other ppl noticing it and being upset. every gl i have seen follows this style.
the main characters meet somewhere/have seen each other in their childhood- they have some awkward interaction- they start acting lovey dovey towards each other but don't say they like each other out loud- confess in some episode- happily ever after.
this year itself, enemies with benefits- they act like a married couple way before either of them accepts their feelings (as the show went on we can see why one would love them but we don't get why they initially like each other). the 4 elements shows, all of them have all the couples fall for each other instantly and they play lovey dovey for a few eps.
love design is also one for me, the boss gave into rin's demands from the beginning even before we establish that they like each other. i don't see why they act head over heels from the beginning without knowing anything abt each other.

i had this problem with us too, everyone praises all these shows but i never see the plot.

the only good gl imo is pluto. they both learn stuff abt each other since the beginning and we see may becoming aioon's safe space. even then pluto has its problems with the whole may 'loves' aioon since the beginning which leads to oom breaking up with her

be real, they don't have time to develop a proper storyline for jay and namtan's character to fall in love. they could have developed jay after the final rejection by herself but by adding her fixed partner you know for sure that there is a romantic plotline building and the team doesn't have to develop chemistry or a bond between them, cause ppl already have them established a couple. I don't trust the audience to have proper criticism cause almost every gl i watched has a weak plotline. Ppl love US but i see it as such a weak story, i would even go to say moonshadow is slighlty better than us

There used to be a time where i would have been jumping for joy at the namtan cameo but atp it feels like a gimmick. Let the actors exist beyond their fixed pair. By adding the actor's partner the writers and team have an easy way out, they don't have to develop the character or romance, they can just simply have them fall for each other and people will eat it up

ah i see it might be best to stay away from the comment section of this one. people really loose their minds when there is a sex scene lol

i mean we have hyper realistic gore scenes of killing people in various ways in many movies and series, if u can stomach that u can handle a few sex scenes

i feel like so far they are doing better than 'us'
