the taiwanese one is fine and way better than this. im very biased towards the thai version cause that one was the first one i watched and i love the actors in that one. i would say the fl lead has more depth compared to the korean one (all my other complaints from my review also hold up). they also expanded the thai movie by turning it into a series by adding more scenes. the thai movie one has the same ending as the korean one but the series version of it has a happy ending

this movie is based on a Taiwanese novel and was first adapted as a Taiwanese film. u can find about in the related content section of this movie. the first version of this story i saw was the thai one which is called 'my precious'. it was then expanded to a thai series. i then went back and watched the Taiwanese version. there is also an Japanese remake of it too

i don't think it is showed in detailed. her narcissism (?) and maybe the inability to see other's problems is a sign of it?
