kinda surprised that out of my lowest rates dramas, 3 have junyoung in it. such a skilled actor but somehow ends up with crappy scripts on at least an alternate basis. I started this with excitement and then quickly realised how the writing is simply dumpster fire.
"irrelevant" dang u didn't have to do them like thatðŸ˜
I very much like having side characters which can actually add to the story. They really have to be VERY annoying to get on my nerves and they were in this episode lol.
the fire scene was so annoying with two irrelevant characters constantly bickering and shouting that I felt like giving up on the drama. screaming and being loud has always been a kdrama thing but it’s almost as if writers write these scene only to fill up the hour. literally zero substance and beyond annoying.
well, he used illegal drugs including cocaine AND Propofol and used other people to get hold of them... though…
are you dense? just because there is a problem with one sector of the law doesn’t mean you give up on the other too? they in fact do, obviously they’re not perfect, but they do. if a normal civilian does these drug crimes (which they won’t be able to because it requires the kind of money only celebs have, in fact poora are exploited to illegally import these drug), they’d face a harder punishment if not a similar one with the exception of not being in the public eye. they should be a lawful citizen if they don’t like public scrutiny.
The trailer is pretty brilliant. Makes you want to tune in. I just know Ahn Eunjin’s performance will be amazing, she never misses. Glad they could release this after chopping his scenes off & hope it’ll work out well.
the plot hole in 3rd episode is crazy. Korean police literally checks dashcam the first thing in EVERY crime but you’re telling me that here they killed the grey leader’s parasyte husband and no one bothered to investigate who’s the traitor when there were like a dozen cars around?
the director seems to be a fan of making straightforward 6 hour movies vs actually creating a nuanced tv show with a complex or fun storyline. not that it’s an issue because his shows are bingeable are not bad but the formula is same for hellbound, monstrous and this. it always lacks something and just isn’t all that impactful.
came back after dropping it at episode 4 to see if they at least let do han end up with a cute boyfriend and his…
let’s not act like there has been no lgbt representation in mainstream at all lol. mine, nevertheless & more aired in the last 2-3 years with major characters being lgbt and yes some of them got a clear ending whether it was happy or not
i kinda wish this had been 16 episode instead of 12 more time to focus on fleshing out the characters. it became…
were we watching the same show… it was already pretty draggy by the end. 16 episodes with this would have been hell. it was not rushed, the pacing was just terrible
Im Soohyang's return to weekend dramas was inevitable lol she's consistently been in flops...
uhm this might sound harsh but weekend drama actors are kinda like lower tier actors in the industry. the pay is lesser and the work is quite a bit. you have to dedicate your year to that show then lol. and then you're kidnapped stuck with them.
