It's a stylistic choice. The atmosphere is supposed to be very bleak and gritty and dark. I haven't seen the original…
Just checked out what you linked to me and the difference is day and night. I really have no business hating on a show that didn't come out and I actually like soohyun, but the "stylistic choice" here doesn't really look good at all. I think there's obvious budget constraints it being content of not exactly a well-known channel. But then again, why would they cast ksh if they didn't have the budget.

Phenomenal acting and props to the music department for pulling off the creepy-as-hell vibes with the extremely limited budget and barely 20 tracks. The directing was pretty too. But like what year were the cameras from that you guys didn't even have decent ones which could shoot in the dark? I do believe the "grain" was a stylistic choice and it worked well but like the low light scenes looked so weird.

its just you and you probally watched the wrong trailer
Just saw the second trailer and sorry i get the same vibes. I don't know if its the coloring or directing style, it feels kinda low budget.

If anyone's worrying about not being able to watch the longer, Uncensored episodes which are exclusive to TVING, don't be. I am watching those and I compared the scenes in multiple episodes. The part that is cut for the TV or VIU/iqiyi/viki broadcast is just a lil bit more context for the scene, it doesn't affect the show. Except I do like how nothing is blurred and the cooler/brutal scenes are slightly longer.

OK, spoiler please. Why was her dad killed?
He was an undercover policeman working as the drug leader guy's right hand. He was killed when they found out.

I saw the trailer and I was like "hope the guy who's helping her didn't kill the father because that would be like the most predictable *twist* ever" and at episode 6 I was like 😐. Also, the unnecessary intimate scene in Finale out of nowhere. And how exactly did they expect viewers to Develop a connection with Pildo while he basically just had one scene saying "this happened to my sis" with no other actual development. I love the action though. Han Sohee was incredible too.

He outdid Song Kang but people won't admit it. I really like Song Kang but his range is very limited. He did not do good in either Love Alarm or Nevertheless (romance genre is definitely not for him). On the other hand, he was brilliant in Sweet Home. Hoping more good stuff for CJH too :)

Only 8 episodes? Why netflix? Give us 16 episodes please
That's a good thing. Most K-dramas get draggy after 10-episode mark. And this genre especially needs well-paced shows with lesser number of episodes and higher quality.

"Netflix ones are good but the VFX and tech always disappoints me." Honestly, I think its because they use Korean…
Absolutely. But then again, I'll keep an eye on the end-episode credits, i wouldn't be surprised if Apple got some American/Canadian VFX Studios involved too.

Finally! An extremely high quality K-drama. Only expected Apple to deliver this. Netflix ones are good but the VFX and tech always disappoints me.

This is looking really good. On some levels, its giving me Hollywood movie vibes 🤔Though, I don't know how…
Apple TV+ is really cheap in most countries and with free subscriptions. Please considering opting for the subscription for the best quality this show probably deserves :)

Oh it's better than I expected it to be. I think it will get really good and I have high hopes, they better not disappoint.

Also, the trailer uploaded on Netflix website/app is the only actual good and unique trailer with the "split" in half thing. Others are pretty confusing and weird.

This is all so sad. Considering this happened over a year ago, I would have thought this young woman would have…
??? She did the right thing by coming forward and telling us the reality. Imagine a guy who harassed you this way is being loved by thousands and on the tv screen being the "best boy" every other day. if anything, it's just her kindness that she waited till this show ended so that his co-stars and crew aren't affected.
