I dropped the drama around Episode 7 I think... The plot and pacing wasn't keeping me engaged and the characters are unlikeable/no fun. The production quality seemed good so it's a bummer...

Person Song Kang
Ok, there is no denying the fact that the boy is very handsome and he has that kind of face that can pull off…
roles are versatile but his acting style is not... he can't act in romance dramas to save his life to be very honest. he is very monotone. he did good in sweet home and that's it.

but its not HW
And she reached the wedding because she's being involved in the whole thing thanks to... HW. Not to mention HW seems to care for Ju-yeong but only ends up using her for doing some of her dirty work as an exchange? She seems to be being a whole lot weird with the kids and none of her interactions with the kids are normal. I hope, again, you would agree to the fact that it is not right on HW's part to be involving little children who are facing much more in this whole process of 'revenge'. And even if they did get involved on their own they shouldn't be used further as a weapon. Use HJ's husband, friend, whatever but not minors.

but its not HW
HJ deserves bunch of shit but Lisa as a child DOES NOT. She is a 15 y/o and NO she wouldn't have found out right now at this stage or at least would have been better clueless with just a sketchbook if HW didn't involve her and talk about her lover's affairs with her over a damn chat. And even if she DID, it at least wouldn't be through HW and that is better than purposefully messing up with a teenager being a grown adult who possibly lost her child. You do realise that HW can make HJ suffer all she wants but not through Lisa! Its just plain wrong and I can't believe I have to spell this out. And blaming the perpetrator? Are you kidding me? Is the Lisa the one who cheated? Haewon has no business involving children into this. That is morally wrong and she is JUST as bad as others here. She needs mental help more than others and thanks to her the children would need it too.

?!?! She in constantly involved with Lisa? She slapped her (we don't know why, Lisa must have been a bitch but still), then has been trying to be in contact with her through apologies or whatever, also manipulating her through ju-yeong and also unnecessarily dropping hints of cheating done by HER mother directly to her. This is not something an adult with a normal functioning brain would do to a teenager already going through a lot. Lisa is a brat, haewon still doesn't need to be in contact with her. There should be no reason, as simple as that, Stay away from her. Make your revenge plan revolve around the adults, not the kids. She doesn't need to talk to a toddler, Hosu either. I hope you don't believe that these interactions she's having are totally okay lol.

Haewon still IS involving the kids since day 1... and she is damaging Lisa and clearly is messing with Hosu too, even if its just implied. They are just kids.

This really might be the case. I thought HW was pathetic and pyschotic and hated that she involved the kids in…
Yup and I don't see why anyone would root for her when she's involving literal kids... it's not their fault and something they definitely don't deserve.

I had the same thought! I think she was pregnant and lost her baby because of the trauma caused by WJ ghosting…
yup it's possible. but clearly either the reason for hitting lisa will be revealed at the end or not at all. i wonder what exactly it is for them to save it till the end! the show's keeping me intrigued even though it's basically the *definition* of slow-burn haha.

you're telling me we found out in one episode that haewon has major health problems and might not live for long and also might have lost a baby and can't conceive again?! idk if anybody saw my comment from yesterday but maybe this is one of the reasons i wanted to know why haewon is so unhinged and wants a revenge. i still don't like her messing with hui-ju's kids though.

"It'll be a living hell, so I hope you live long and die all alone." Damn Haewon, now this is the direct tone I wanted to see from your dialogues rather than some vague warnings.

I think she felt betrayed because she lost both the person she loved and her closest friend (Hee Joo) The betrayal…
Oh thanks! Really like the point about her not exactly having people close to her to begin with which would make the betrayal only harsher for her. Also she never support system like parents or friends/siblings can be to begin with except her grandfather. I look forward to just how much more she'll be drowned in the feeling of revenge now that it looks like she has lost her grandfather.

i think haewon is unhinged and has already been hurt so much that she wants to take HJ down with her. she obviously is a little bit unstable if she really got that broken over woojae leaving her behind. even though they added the "others would say he was just a guy you are ruining your life over" dialogue, it still hasn't given us a broad perspective as to why a normal person would go the lengths that haewon is. are we missing something or she really did lose her mind over "best friend forever/boy friend/fiance" leaving her suddenly?

romance was garbage, typical " the avenger is tempted to stop her revenge by a promise of a normal life only to…
Well put! And now that I'm thinking about the show, damn, it really was full of cliches. What even did the makers think on their own? Lol at the people saying its better than other non-romance korean netflix originals though.

When I saw the trailer, I immediately knew it's actually the boss who killed the father (such an average trope for revenge drama dear god) and somehow even though I was prepared for it, it felt so disappointing because the episodes before the revelation were quite good. And then that unnecessary intimate scene in the finale. 🤨 I never felt connect to Bo Hyun's character either and he just kinda felt soft (?) as an actor for Pildo? Overall it was enjoyable but could have been better.
