Whoever did the color grading for the present scenes— it's bad. And that's disappointing because the aesthetics are good. The colors are too washed out. The whites are too dominant and VERY annoying to look at in some scenes. In fact, the past scenes with taller aspect ratio and different color grading are much better and feel fresh. I know they won't fix it, so I'll be annoyed for the next 15 episodes.

But it's not... like at all. HHJ and her chem with PHS is very enjoyable but the plot is lacking lol. Literally nothing ever happens. There's zero creativity. Children's storybooks do more. I enjoyed the show at first but it IS draggy with plot inconsistencies and badly written characters.
Show was somewhat enjoyable till Episode 8, last 2 episodes felt a bit draggy. Still continuing till the end though. The chemistry is literally effortless which is why I'm watching it but otherwise, it's a rather immature screenwriting lol, the chracters are weirdly written (are you seriously telling me that every other person is a weirdo and apparently being "apartment representative" brings a lot of profit and drives the person to act like that jeez), almost everything is off about the plot. Literally nothing happens (one would say a lot happened in Ep 10 but yeah, i won't just ignore the lack of it overall). Should have been 6-8 and 40 mins. episode at max.
Han So Hee is definitely not as good as everyone as claiming lol I don't really get the sudden cult following bad actors like Song Kang get after starring in a couple dramas. But I do think her and PHS would look good on screen together! Looking forward to it.

To be honest it was decent but nothing special. I like the music and directing but the plot was lacking at times. And definitely not meant for a binge-watch, you'd probably get annoyed. I watched it weekly and hence it wasn't bad at all for me. I personally liked the overall ending of the main mystery. None of the characters were likeable and neither do you feel a connection with them.
You're right, his acting in police University was same too, expression doesn't justify his dialogue delivery..
Checked his profile just now but doesn't seem like he is an idol-actor. A rookie though, only debuted this year judging by his filmography. Makes sense.
I know they are not gonna give any proper explanations or build a strong plot, but rather do shit for the shock-factor. I hope it makes the 12 y/os watching this satisfied. Time for annual year-end hate-watch like True Beauty lol, hope not many will waste time on it like I am.

I wish Woojae stepping up as the big-crazy-bad came up a bit earlier so we would have seen how it played out in few more episodes than just these last ones. Also, a part of me believes he is doing this relationship with HJ again out of revenge just to leave her i think. Meanwhile, HJ doesn't want this to end for her, does she? Making HW lose her job just basically gave HW more time to trouble you like you deserve lol. I still do wish she doesn't mess with the kids. Also, HS being the one who hit WJ didn't come as a surprise to me at all, after all, it was clear thanks to last few episodes that he's the crazy-obsessive type too.
again the comments with "people don't understand the metaphor/story" are back lol. meanwhile moral of the show is that cults are shitty and humans can be easily influenced to do anything and apparently nothing like govt. or military exists and that cult can control the whole nation. i guess this is some totally fresh storyline that some of us ignorant mortals didn't get 😭
