it's crazy how actors like hae-in and yoon se-ah accepted this project too? i don't expect much from idols lol.…
Yep... Quite a few brands are dropping. Even Korean disney+ support executives themselves have talked with their superiors and reported about the show so that it is taken down from the platform.

Are you choosing to be ignorant or you just are? Literally the characters taken ARE in fact some horrible people being glorified and romanticized for the show. Even if you are an absolute idiot, google search is not that hard. Though I doubt you'd be able to comprehend it like some other fans here.
Right…. I was like why are there so many spy cams ….Even on top of the helmet they designed it to have a camera…
That actually was the most realistic camera out of all others... some delivery companies are quite cruel and do in fact have cameras on either motorbikes or helmets of the delivery employee. :(

the sponsors are thankfully starting to drop (for eg. teazen just now). jTBC clearly invested a lot in this. They really though they did something. Had too much trust in SKY Castle makers maybe.

When you use major and real elements from the time this show is set in, this "fictional history" bs is absolutely disgusting and insensitive. next thing y'all will romanticize hitler's regime and portray him as some good guy.
Man, JTBC has been on a roll lately. First with the idol coup, which literally have less than 1% viewership through…
it's crazy how actors like hae-in and yoon se-ah accepted this project too? i don't expect much from idols lol. how much are they being paid? i'm guessing quite a lot considering how expensive the show looks. they have no conscience for participating in this.
The petition is gaining signs! Hope it gets taken down soon for glorifying the NSA— a cruel organization that abused and killed student protestors, in the first episode itself. Here they are apparently pretty characters who are trying to catch a North Korean spy? Is this parallel universe?
2nd episode was less bloody and more fun... Meanwhile the prop designers are like "just paste SD card on any random object and call it a spy camera device 😭)
For a rookie actress she did pretty well . Funny you still watched the first episode when you wanted it to flop…
The description given on Disney+ is quite spoilery to begin with and in fact tells most of the plot. They want to prepare the audience to "deal with it."

Lol literally the every fan supporting this show and trying to tell the *actual* history to koreans themselves on twitter and what not. Imagine telling to victims' families that there exist people with zero consderation who'll support this blindly.
again here after jirisan. It has been almost 2yrs since i have been watching tvn sat-sun dramas. And i realised…
Lol jirisan was a good break from tvn weekend dramas... no way i could watch that snoozefest for more than 2-3 episodes. Seems like bulgasal will restore the timeslot in terms of quality content.
she was the weakest part about the pilot episode (oh god the voice and dialogue delivery 😭) which i watched to see how far they'll go to romanticize the time, to be frank. neither does she look the age of the character in any way.
will not support such a show and those who do are creepy international fans with no knowledge and care for the korean history. :)
I agree with the OST because the scene was intense I wasn't expecting an English OST which sounded a bit odd too…
I know right? I’m not one of those who hate hearing English in k-pop or anything lol because that would be weird but they actually used the two English OSTs and both felt very odd for the scenes and considering the time period.
They’re focusing a bit more on aesthetics than they need to, it makes the episode feel a bit slow. But then again, it does look good and expensive. Can’t say much until I watch another couple episodes I guess.
The OSTs did not fit the atmosphere of the show much, especially the English ones lol. The camera quality and bokeh effect is western tv show-level quality, if only tvN distributed this in 4K HDR 😔
What’s happening… who’s bringing 16:9 aspect ratio back to K-dramas for every genre? I like it since it does fill up the displays of my macs and TVs lol but didn’t expect it. First Jirisan, Hellbound, Artifical City and now this. Earlier this year too dramas like True Beauty and Run On were 16:9. My personal favourite is 2:1 or 18:9 though, best combo between wide and tall and perfectly watchable on phones.
Btw: is it just me who feels like the sound quality is so good and US television quality that it feels as if weirdly dubbed haha…
Both are good IMO. Finally she's being paired up with someone good. Also, good on Ga-young for taking a year's break, deserved after carrying a rather bad show with even worse co-stars
