It's heartbreaking what happened to Ma Shuan. He didn't deserve such ending, especially after he and Liu Qiao Zhen finally got to live a good and happy life in Shanghai. They were really lucky to have met Granny Fu who was an amazing and sweet old lady who treated them like family.
Gao Jia Lin went through some positive changes which made him more tolerable, same goes for Huang Ya Ping. They actually deserve each other.
What the hell happened to Gao San Xing?? Why is he acting like that? He went from being a sweet boy to being a little drunkard and tyrant.
Chen Xiu Li & Gao Shuang Xing are a nice couple and I wish them well (despite that thing that his father Gao Ming Lou did).
Is the kid even MS? I feel like she married him because she was pregnant with the ML baby and she used the innocent…
She wasn't pregnant before her marriage to Ma Shuan. Although she decided to marry him not out of love but to forget about Gao Jia Lin and simply to not be alone, she eventually developed genuine and sincere feelings for MS and they had a good and happy life together in the end.
It's well written and acted with beautiful scenery, great cast and music.
Although seeing Gao Jia Lin struggle all the time made me feel sympathy for him in the beginning, this started to change after watching more episodes. To be honest he's very self-centered, loves to wallow in self-pity and gets more and more arrogant with each episode. He told Liu Qiao Zhen that he likes her but I don't think he does. He probably did it to feel superior and because he pitied her. In Ep. 15 when she visited him in his new workplace he realised that they don't have anything in common apart from being born and raised in the same village. In his eyes she's just too plain and simple to be be with such an "intellectual" as himself. And there's Huang Ya Ping who also has a crush on him.
Shiro & Kenji were amazing as usual but Wataru's character was so childish, manipulative and overall unpleasant to watch and his relationship with Daisaku was the epitome of toxicity.
I'm so happy they used Yuè Liàng Dài Biǎo Wǒ De Xīn by Teresa Teng as their main theme song. It's one of my all time favourites and one of the most beautiful Chinese songs I've heard in the past few years.

Those villagers are creepy as hell, especially that Sabu guy who keeps lying and making up stories about Agawa that never happened. They seem to be more dangerous than the Goto family so I would watch my back if I were Agawa.
