Anyone who cares about high quality work, good storytelling, amazing acting and a soundtrack that makes your heart melt should watch this drama. It's drenched in so many emotions. There's teenage angst, feelings of hopelessness and not being good enough, need of finding love and acceptance, personality crisis, the pressure of living up to other people's expectations but most of all it's a journey of figuring out who you are, what you want and who you want to be (with). The way the ML were longing for each other's attention, stealing glances at one another whenever they had a chance to do so, getting jealous for no reason, making small gestures of appreciation was telling that they cared for each other a great deal but didn't really know how to cope with those feelings. Seeing them ending up together in the end was very touching and I'm glad it ended on a good note which makes waiting for a second season less of a torture. The theme song complimented the show so well, I had to sob every time it was playing.
To me this is the best Thai BL drama that has been released in recent years, or at least since He's Coming To Me, Grey Rainbow and Love By Chance (1st season).
Btw. I thought Hoon was played by Fu Meng Bo (The Sleuth Of Ming Dynasty), they look like twin brothers :-)
Amazing drama. One of the few that truly deserves a second season.
Btw. does anyone know the names of the songs in the last episode: one played at the restaurant at 37-38:37 min. and the second one in the car at 55:03-57:15 min.?
Amazing drama. Yes, you need to pay close attention to everything that's happening because it's easy to lose track with all the plot twists and flashbacks of past and present but you won't be disappointed with how the story unravels. And the song that plays in almost every scene was a perfect choice. To me the Mandarin version conveys more emotions and sounds much better than the English original.
is it really that good? Or over rated by some? Why did that guy Ning Yu killed himself on the track in the tunnel…
It's definitely not a perfect show but interesting enough to make you stick to the final episode. Ning Yu was burden with guilt for his past actions. He was one of the reasons Luo Ran's wife died, he killed other people in the ghost town and also had some troubles at home. It was obvious to him that there was no coming back from all he did and that he would have to face consequences. Going to jail was not an option for him so he decided to take a shortcut and ended his life in the tunnel.
Hwang Shi Mok and Han Yeo Jin must be the best police-prosecution duo in the history of TV shows. They compliment each other so well and it's a pure joy to watch them work side by side. The scene in the restaurant when they were saying goodbye to each other again made me feel a bit emotional heh I hope season 3 will arrive soon enough and we'll see them team up again. We need to find out what Seo Dong Jae told the investigator and what really happened to the bullied cop who allegedly committed suicide.
This was a crazy, sweet and funny watch. It looks like a scripted reality show and Akagi acts a lot like Haruta from Ossan's Love (chaotic and over the top but in a good way) :-)
I think Earth is self-conscious and has Low esteem about himself. He is lonely because he lose Stud and their…
You're right about his low self-esteem. He compares himself to Sam's friends and says he's not as successful, good-looking and smart as them so that could've have messed with his head even more. It might've even caused him to believe that he's just not good enough and that he's responsible for Sam cheating on him. It's sad to see him so lost and tense as if he's lost the will to live. Do you think his low sense of self-worth and fear of being alone traps him in a relationship with someone like Sam? Or is Earth really just very forgiving and kind guy?
is the disrespect really necessary? Great if you enjoy one but don’t use it to throw shade on other titles.
You're absolutely right but you should tell that to "fentybitxh". That user just can't accept different opinions and has to resort to personal attacks and insults just to make you think how wrong you are. Such public meltdown over a fictional show is not a "cute" thing. I'll leave it at that.
