You can watch it as it's own ,, it will explain the whole arch of the series ,, there is no confusion when you…
Does it really not matter in what order you watch the shows? There are like 20 prequels and sequels, some based in the past and some in the future. Are they all connected or totally independent from each other? I'd like to watch them all but don't really know where to start to be honest.
The story itself is interesting and the execution is well made. The actors did a good job, especially the cute Joseph Zeng. I think the show could've been much better without Cheng and the overly annoying Cha Cha. Both of these support characters bring absolutely nothing to the story. 50% of the screen time is wasted on Cha Cha either running around with no purpose, bugging Li Jia or just moping for no reason. If there's going to be a second season then I truly hope her character gets removed. Oh and this is neither a horror nor a thriller but rather a comedic romance story with a very little suspense.
The only good thing about this show was the ending song by BeWhy. The rest was boring and the so called "monsters" mostly looked ridiculous and funny rather than scary.
Very nice action film. I've never seen the anime nor read the manga but I really enjoyed this one.
My favourite scenes: 1. Mikasa saving Eren from crashing to the ground. The scene shows them frozen in the air, their hands reaching out to each other with all the debris from the destroyed wall flying past them.
