Cheng yi is too good an actor. Honestly if I was the director I would change the plot to be that TZ is Yingyuan’s twin brother that was born in the mortal realm after ying yuan save yan Dan and lost his powers which made him go into hiding. So she feel in love with his twin. Cuz the way cheng yi portrayed the difference In TZ and YY character is amazing , you can clearly tell the difference between them. TZ suffered a lot for YY’s mistake. They have the same face but clearly different personality. The only thing they have in common is flipping tortoises.

That’s exactly what I thought. He was so manipulative , first he threw his eye whatever into the river so she would feel guilty.
