Guys I think most of us are used to fluffy Thai bl series with fluffy happy endings ... This ending was more realistic since it's Chinese and not Thai... It was a happy ending with nostalgic vibes... Why so disappointed by the ending ..? I did not get it .. both of them follow their dreams and in the end they met again... They only way for QL to be free from his dad was to study and become independent... and that's what happened with his mother's help ..You said they meet again by "fate" but nothing in the last 2 mins confirmed that .. they didn't give us details about their reunion... Like with whom was QL talking on the phone? Also QX did not seem to be so socked meeting QL ( except if this was because of the actor's bad performing, which I doubt) ... I don't disagree that it was a bit fast pacing.. but it was a good ending...
