Please tell me I'm not the only gay male that watched this and was totally pissed off with the way he didn't tell…
That's one of the ethical-no ethical battle of the 21st century... I can't angry more but also I can agree less... HIV infection stigmatize the patient for life... I know that the right thing to do is to inform your lover about the infection but when you don't have permanent lover then it's difficult to open up about this... I know that it is hard to be accepted but the HIV positive patients are really stigmatized and community don't accept them as they should do... I would be driven crazy if one of my sex partners was positive and had never mentioned it but in other hand I can understand their reluctance... That's why what all of us have to do is to use protection , especial if we don't have permanent partners ... We need to protect ourselves and stop accusing the others'.. If you don't use condom it's first your fault and secondly your partners fault...!! I work in the medical sector so believe me when I say "don't expect the other to protect you... Protect yourself!!

Yes but he has not come clean to his friends about his condition... So he is still hiding.... I don't know how the novel ends but I was hoping for more solid evidence of his healing ... With or without Gyu Ho ( btw the way they parted was the worst way to break up.. no closure..) that's why it feels more sad than hopeful to me.... Maybe one special episode would cleared the atmosphere but I don't think there will be any...

I love your optimism!! Many of the users here commented that they cried a lot.. I didn't shed a tear but I got depressed for at least three hours π but again I could not feel optimistic since I am not sure if our ML has learned how to live with his illness... he has accepted that his attitude towards HIV drove them to the break up but is this enough? Will he ever be emotional ready ( because of HIV) to really accept a new love and not run away from it??
Just finished ep 8 and I need to "digest " all this sadness of loneliness of ml and then I will write comments... The sure thing is that if I ever visit Bangkok I will look for that "silver penis" " β€οΈβ€οΈππ
now, i only comment on here when soemthing has touched my heart. this show did more than that for me. i finished…
I agree with you! Regarding the romance part, I just believe that when you find someone like Gyu Ho who accept you for who you are ( and here we are talking about HIV disease plus for who you are) and you love him back as much , then you really can't let him go... And if you do, then find the strength to claim him back!! Since we are talking about real life problems.. it's not easy to accept someone who has HIV disease ... The truth is ungly and personally I hate it but most of the people get scared... Gyu Ho ( and any real Gyu Ho) did not get scared.... You f@@king don't let these people out of your life!!!!!
If go young takes his meds the right way. The virus actually becomes undetectable and cannot be transmitted. Also…
Omg I had forgot about prep! Thanks for remind me! I just want to o add sth more if I may... you wrote "if go young takes his meds the right way." Well, it's not just up to him... He needs to be under a doctor guidness ( sth that the series did not deliver) and it's extremely important to get his diagnosis early .. in the first stage of HIV infection!!! Otherwise the virus can not be suppressed!!
