now, i only comment on here when soemthing has touched my heart. this show did more than that for me. i finished…
I agree with you! Regarding the romance part, I just believe that when you find someone like Gyu Ho who accept you for who you are ( and here we are talking about HIV disease plus for who you are) and you love him back as much , then you really can't let him go... And if you do, then find the strength to claim him back!! Since we are talking about real life problems.. it's not easy to accept someone who has HIV disease ... The truth is ungly and personally I hate it but most of the people get scared... Gyu Ho ( and any real Gyu Ho) did not get scared.... You f@@king don't let these people out of your life!!!!!
If go young takes his meds the right way. The virus actually becomes undetectable and cannot be transmitted. Also…
Omg I had forgot about prep! Thanks for remind me! I just want to o add sth more if I may... you wrote "if go young takes his meds the right way." Well, it's not just up to him... He needs to be under a doctor guidness ( sth that the series did not deliver) and it's extremely important to get his diagnosis early .. in the first stage of HIV infection!!! Otherwise the virus can not be suppressed!!
At the end of Ep 5, the lead tells his new bartender boyfriend that he has had HIV since 2014. Now, the show is…
Ok ok I got your argument... Sorry I am at work and I read fast. I lost the point...But may I ask you sth else? did you guys really got what impact had HIV in his life? Cause I think the series did not deliver this properly...

I gave the series a 9 because of the acting and the directing .. and I brainwashed myself to not think about the HIV part otherwise I would have rated it 5 π ... I completely agree with you with all you mentioned above... And there are much more to comment...

Its a drama .. it does not need to have educational aspects but some basic information could have been accurate... It's supposed to be a serious work ... They cant compare HIV disease to a common cold.... (Ep 5... I think)

No he didn't... He said that in ep 5 I think... Gyo Ho was the first he told about it.. not even his friends knew about it.. nor his mother.. but that is a bit understandable... He could not have a normal life if they knew... He would be treated like a virus himself... That's an ethical-unethical battle that exist the past decades and I personally I can't really take a side any more... ππ
I can't say that the series is boring... It is more serious than any queer/bl series of the past years... Maybe that's the problem... Maybe your taste is more "a cute lovely dramas.." . This is not this kind of drama..

Don't let me start commenting about HIV plot in this series... There are many holes for me..( I am a bioscientist). Try not to take it seriously otherwise we will need to make a whole draft about what should have been explained and what no... I am still in ep 7.. after finish ep 8 I will probably make a looong comment about HIV plot and std in general ... I am a bit pissed... ππ
Since Gyu Ho actually tasted Go Young's blood, was there a chance for HIV to spread to him, but he got lucky and…
Not a chance under normal circumstances... That's medical misinformation... It's s contagious through sex ( without protection) blood transfusion and during pregnancy ( from mother to child)... The only chance someone can get infected by coming in contact with blood HIV positive is if the skin has big wounds and the virus can be transmitted throught the skin walls... Extremely rare...!!
Will never understand girls liking BL, like do you see yourself as a middle between a top and bottom π€’π€’π€’
"Middle between' a top and a bottom... That means that every time you watch a straight movie you see yourself as a middle between the woman and the man??? Do some people think before you ask questions?? There is a word you know.. it's called plot ... And three other words "chemistry between actors/characters" ... So you can be as discussed as you want... you clearly don't know what "watching" a drama means... Ps: are you even aware of the type of page this is?? π€£π€£ You don't really ask these kind of questions here π€£π€£π€£
