i just finished this and wow it was amazing. I'm too afraid to watch the finale movie because it will be the end literally for me and I really can't let this show go...
I really liked the first 13 episodes they were super funny but I sort of forced myself to watch the end. The show was a fresh of breath air in a place where kdramas are super cliche it’s a 9/10 for me
Why is everyone complaining about the age gap lmao... The leads accepted the roles fully knowing that there was an age gap relax y'all she's not a minor her korean age is 20
I honestly love anything with Park Seo Joon in it but I couldn't get into this show I don't know why. The only scenes I enjoyed where the ones with the supporting characters but not the main couple they seemed boring to me - in the first 6 episodes they sounded super monotone to me so I just couldn't deal... Love Seo Joonie but this wasn't my cup of tea .
They said season 2 would be coming out but that was 3 years ago... Mike currently has been acting in China since this show ended in 2015 so I highly doubt it.
I feel like many people are rating this live action very low due to the fact that they haven't either read the manga or watched the anime. Those who have done so would rate this as a very good adaption of the manga since in a very short time it went through pretty much the whole manga (40 chapters) ignoring a few filler chapters the manga had.
I do not understand why no one likes this version and how this versions rating is lower than MISS IN KISS??? Like…
Also the Kotoko in this version was much better than the others in terms of how much she showed her ambition and perseverance towards Irie-kun, however slightly annoying. My favourite version of the INK series is ISWAK and TKA then Love in Tokyo, this one would be my 3rd favourite version
I do not understand why no one likes this version and how this versions rating is lower than MISS IN KISS??? Like seriously how can it be worse than Miss in Kiss which was an embarrassment to the INK franchise. In my opinion, I loved this version - it projected the story in a way like no other and the male lead for Irie Naoki is probably the best looking one in the whole INK franchise like wowwww did you see his dimples. If you ignore how loud Kotoko is it is actually a very very good drama hence why I rated it a 10 in my eyes although I am heavily biased towards this franchise.
Talu Wang doesn't give of 'Jiang Zhi Shu' vibes so I highly doubt this remake will be any good, however, he is a good actor. The problem is that what the viewers want is a season 3 of the original 'It started with a kiss' but we keep getting given several remakes. Of course, this franchise has many stories which have all been depicted differently dependent on the actors and the country but, this is the 3rd Itazura na Kiss remake that Taiwan has produced and seeing how 'Miss in Kiss' turned out, I do not have very high expectations for this remake. I honestly believe as a person who has watched the original ISWAK with Joe Cheng and Ariel Lin over 4 times; i don't think that this version will be depicted in a way the original author would want. Additionally, it will be very very hard to put the whole story between Naoki and Kotoko in a movie - this obviously means that a lot of important scenes will be removed or there will be later movies (I hope for the latter) but expectations are very low as this movie is coming from the director who has yet to produce a sequel to 'Our Times' after 3 years. I hope for the best in this movie and how it lives up to the high expectations that I have for this franchise.
