Wow, a marvellous drama with a wonderful performance in the lead role by Jung Kyung-ho. The rest of the cast are for the most part excellent, and even those who aren't don't let the side down. The story doesn;t break any new ground. It's probably all be seen before. But it's excuted so perfectly, that it reminds you of why you fell in love with Korean dramas in the first place.
It seems my favourite characters in Korean dramas are those who are or look a little bit quirky. In this case it's the female cop.

Terrific drama.
It didn't take much to work out who the original Bridal Mask was. Well, if
you've ever seen any of the Zorro movies, it should be pretty obvious.
A very good cast. The story flows along naturally. I couldn't find any
"oh come on" moments. The two male leads have some really cool outfits. Okay, their outfits ie those suits did seem a bit too modern. BuT they were as snazzy as hell thought the fight were well done, and exciting to watch.
I was glad to see that the comic character was not grating.
In early scenes where Mok dan sees Bridal mask, she has a kind of ectasy on her face, as if he is some kind of deity.
Favourite characters Ueno Rie, and Um Sun-hwa

Title A Gentleman's Dignity Spoiler

Overall view. A likeable drama about some pretty unlikable people.

Let's talk about Lee Jong Hyuk’s character Lee Jung Rok first
I know this guy can act. But for me, he was miscast in this role. He tries too hard to be cute, i guess, and it doesn’t work for him. But, what is it with the hair. It is kind of odd that nobody in the drama challenged him on it. But you could also say that it’s about a character, who even more than the others doesn;t want to admit that he is no longer a young man.
Still there should have been a scene where someone shouted him about that haircut..
But he was in the best scene in the movie ie the dance scene with the actress playing his wife. Well, that scene and the dance scene at the end were the best of me.

i liked the character of Hong Se Ra (Yoon Se Ah). Okay, you could say that at least initially, she comes across as superficial. But for me, she was the character I liked the best. I guess I just liked her honesty, and overall the actress was very good.

I thought the lead actress tried to force the “cute” facial expressions at times. Acting wise, she was okay, probably better in the school scenes. But I had nothing against her overall. It was also nice to see somebody in a lead role with a bit of weight on them.

For the majority of the time. i Me Ah Ri annoying.
I found her acting pretty forced at times, especially her crying scenes. But there were some brief moments when she wasn’t trying to hard, and some honesty in her acting came through. This would have been in the later stages of the drama. Her best scene for me i(SPOILER ALERT} is when she tells her brother that she is ready to go back to the states.

On the two male youth. I wasn’t impressed bu the taller guy’s performance. But I thought the one playing the son had some acting chops.
On the lead actor. Yes, he was very good. His performance was very natural, and very charismatic. But the scenes at the end where he has his hair cut differently, it makes him look about ten years older.

So I said I found some of the characters unlikable.
Well of course I’m not going to like a character who goes around cheating on his wife.
What i found cringe inducing was Jang Dong Gun’s attempts in the early part of the show to get Yi Soo’ to go to bed with him.

When Tae san finds out that Yi Soo had the hots for him, he asks Jang Dong Gun’ why he didn’t tell him, and says he would have dated her and his current crush. Really, and I hope one of them would have kicked you in the ….. But the actor overall was good, except for one scene near the end. It’s where he finds out that his girlfriend is pregnant. I dunno, i just found his facial expresions a bit contrived.
So, I guess that leaves Yoon as the only really decent guy. He tries to do the right thing. even if if it’s really the wrong thing. Another good performance. Although I wouldn’t be surprised. that the actor often plays these sensitive types.

Overall, the drama except for the two dance scenes I mentioned, didn’t have too many memorable sequences. At the same it wasn’t the usual poor girl, rich guy drama. Okay, he was probably earning a lot more than her. But it wasn;t to the forefront of the drama.
I found the music rather meh.Well, okay, maybe I had a slight liking for the one that is played during the couple’s breakup . It was a female singer. But I certainlly don’t like it enough to go hunting for it on youtube.

The other two major performances by the acressess playing Lee Jung Rok ‘s wife, and Jang Dong Gun’s first love were good.

Nice drama.Nothing really particular EXCEPT one scene of 22 minutes in the last episode : Keita talking in front…
Sorry for the late reply. The quality on Aznv.tv might not be any better than what you get on dorama. To be honest aznv would be my last resort. The thing is, they do have stuff, which I haven't found elsewhere. But if you wan't some help in getting signed, i could post something. Although it woudn't be private.

Yep, it does seem hard to find. I can't remember where i got it from originally. It was probably youtube. I see it on veoh, but there are no subs. The only other suggestion I can make is see if you can sign up for this site aznv.tv. BUT, you will not be able to download the drama, you can only stream it through winamp or vlc.

Ji Sung and Hwang Jung-Eum meld perfectly together. He grabs the chance he is given to play a multitude of characters with both hands.
she is engaging. I would say both give excellent performances overall, although i could see their limations. for instance Theire
is a scene or two, where he has to portray, shock or surprise, and I didn't find it very convincing. I found her cryying scenes to be somewhat strained.
But her smile is a delight. and she is also very good at listening.
Of the rest, I would like to have seen more of Oh Min Suk, who I thought gave the most interesting performance.
Kim Yoo Ri does very well too.
Actually one of the best scenes in the series is an argument between those two, with some very good dialogue and acting.
NOTE, I still don't understand why Hwang Jung Eum's character was treated so badly by Ji Sung;s characters father.

Yes, it goes a bit overly melodramatic in the last episode, and the character of Momoko Koishika, the heroine's flaky but of course insightful girlfriend is one you could find enderaring, or want to strangle. But oveall, this is an excellent, slice of life drama.

This is probably the most romantic drama I've seen. it has a very attractive young cast.
My favourite being Jeon Hye-Bin, who just exudes class.
On the older actors side Sung Dong-Il, and Ahn Suk-Hwan do good battle to see who comes off as the most eccentric. Although in one scene, the latter gets a chance to show off his straight acting chops.
The is also one song I really liked in it.
Besides Romance, food is the other mainstay.
Okay, it looks like like the ending was rushed. It got all a bit too pat. But It played out pretty well untl then.
Note on other reviews here.
Come to think of it, I do agree that seung mi was as i believe someone said being treated rather
shitty.
He just didn;t want to admit it.
I did like the scene where Yoo Joon Ha tries to enlist seung mi, into his scheme to seperate
the two leads. I can only assume there were other episodes planned, because yoo hee's father
having a total change of heart was not convincing. What saved it a bit for me was that when Yoo Hee gets out of Yoo Joon Ha's car, after getting a lift to the airport, and she says "Thank you". He doesn't respond.
But did Yoo Joon Ha really love Yoo Hee. i think he did. He may have loved the idea of taking over the hospital more. But i think he had feelings for her.
as for the leads getting together in the end. I must admit that I wasn;t sure who was going to end up with who, until I suppose The two leads declare their feelings for one another.
The kissing scenes were pretty unconvincing. a big difference between Jae Hee's kissing in that, and the film 3-iron.
Yes, i guess i would have liked to have seen Chae Moo-ryung, and Nam Seung-Mi stay together, and maybe yoo hee and Yoo Joon Ha stay together. But to prove that he really loves
her, he gives up on the idea of taking over the hospital.
Instead he starts up a small country practise, and she runs the business side of it.
Ok, that's probably even worse, than the ending we have.
But, at least Chae Moo-ryung, and Nam Seung-Mi stay together.
Now I'm going to contradict some of that.
Much as I liked Seung-Mi. Was it really love between her and Chae Moo-ryung,
Why hadn;t they got married. It didn't seem she had ever brought it up before.
It was only when the threat of Yoo-Hee, came into play, that she brought up the idea of marriage. If Yoo Hee hadn't arrived on the scene, Seung-Mi would probably have never mentioned the M word. I think they just got too comfortable with each other.
Yes, he shouldn;t have been staying in another woman's house, even as a housekeeper.
But that scene where she does the romantic gesture with the lights is going to go into
my favourite scenes from korean dramas. Perhaps only because it was done by a woman for a man,
So in the end, I guess the drama had the right two getting together.

Overall, I enjoyed this.I particularly liked the peformance of Ueno Juru. but the guy was good too. But unless I missed something, I thought it got bit silly in the last two eps. Surely all he had to do was text her, and say "I'll meet you here"
