At first i thought this drama will be comedy family drama but it turn out to be one of sad, heartwarming and kinda depressed too? The acting is sooooo good especially the lead actress ( she was recently won best actress at japan academy award so wonder her acting is so damn good)

Everyone and their mom got sequal except this show😭😭it more than 2 years already...😢

Beautiful drama...and make me cry every episode at first i prefer anime version but after episode 4 yeah the drama is much better and of course the child actor is so good she play middle age wome perfectly....10/10

The bl king that we deserved😊💁‍♂️...i"m glad to hear that he actually love bl and that makes him more amazing😊, maybe is just me but he got 2000 / y2k type of visual?? .....btw i hope we can see more of him maybe more mainstream works and i also want to see him doing more bl too maybe with more mature storyline.....

This kid has bright future in acting industry....he really talented yet still young i'm so happy he got big break with school trip and his first lead role too😊....the way some people try to come for his visual is so funny lol he won junon superboy contest and beat out other 15000 boys in all over japan ☝️💅thats was a flex seriously.....hoping to see more of his acting works this year....

Omg this is what i described watarai...the way watarai like hioki first and he liked him more more and more......he is so in love and crazy for him...

I really love how watarai and hioki personality in this drama , watarai is not typical cool rude character but he actually super friendly and nice and hioki eventho he was innocent but i liked infact je kinda speak his mind??always give his opinion about their relationships which that what i like about this show😊and this is was really great sp episode because we got too see the continue of their being senior year and their wish to to spring break together and also really love their conversation and the domestic thing they do for this ep......arghhhhh give us s2 pleaseeeee or sp or movieeeeee....we want more watakoi.....

Also want to give big praised to fujimoto kodai for potrayal of asahi hioki ...he managed to play shy, innocent, awkward 17 year old teenager really well the facial expression, the mannerism was just perfect ( i cry when he cry in this drama and i smile when he smile)👌the different between his acting here and his role on smell like green spirit...boy is talented actor hope to see more him after this ....

Already finish watching all episode + sp and yes i get the hype why this show is popular and got high rating....it was so good the plot ( no angst, no miscommunication ,no toxic character/plot) the chemistry (both kodai and kan also the friendships) , the acting, ost , production and eventhough the troupe is overuse/cliche but they managed to make the whole story fresh and fun❤❤for me this is best jbl of 2025 and also the best teen school jbl for me ( sorry kieta hatsukoi)....deserved 10/10....

By his status as a list actor, i don't see he doing notable or popular project lately? Kinda want to see him in netflix or something....
