Would have maybe been loving this drama if the ML had broken up with his gf much earlier. Its very hard to enjoy their fake date and romance when we know he is blatantly cheating and not taking a decision to break up thats under his control.
I don’t get why you blame the plot when it was you who failed to connect the dots. There is no new plot at all…
You may believe me to be brain dead who can't follow a simple plot line, but I understood the whole plot just fine. Its just that the different parts of the show were disjointed, the plot line followed in the third arc introduces new characters/villains that I don't care about.
I really loved One and Only but this show has been such a bore. Its slow and I dislike most of the characters. I don't understand the ML's personality. I really miss the ancient ZSC. His family is very depressing too. His awkwardness and hesitance is not cute to me.
Its okay to not include intimate scenes in a romance drama. One and Only managed to do that so well. I do think its portray love between a newlywed couple without showing intimate scenes as well. Just don't film it awkwardly like this show has done. So painful to watch. The leads had better chemistry when they were simply staring at each other in OnO. Kinda wish I stopped after watching One and Only.
don't wanna see Liang Jie in a supporting role in a Steven Zhang drama....
Yea its messing with my head as well. Since the last drama with them as leads wasn't too long ago and was quite a lovely one. But the leads here are doing a good job so I'm sure we'll get used to it soon.

This show was so disappointing. The leads are only together at the end for 1 second, after not having met for years. Is this supposed to make sense? XJ is the most unlikeable FL I've come across in months. I don't know why we saw so much of Lin You on screen only for her to end up with a random dude in the end that we know nothing about? The only thing I liked is how Tao Tao picked a good husband.
What a great start! Warm and lovely and exactly what I want. The leads are gorgeous and charming and look great together. The other characters were all fun, especially love the two kids. I'm so excited for the coming episodes.
I really wish I could drop this and not be plagued by my compulsion to finish. But its hard to quit when I'm 32 episodes in. This story could have easily been told in 22-24 episodes. 36 episodes made it very draggy in the middle.
This is the first time I've willingly submitted myself to a rather heartbreaking storyline. It was so worth it! This show is so well made, the actors all did a very good job too. Absolute ge m of a show.
