Please dont make sang tae a second lead for the FL i believe let nam juri be the second lead. I had this feeling…
I have a feeling ST will be possessive about KT. In this episode KT gave MY a handmade doll he made for ST. Plus there's a special relationship between the brothers. So it'll be interesting how that plays out.
Kang Tae has better self-control than monks. He was drunk af with an absolutely scrumptious MY literally puckering her lips for a kiss but noooo. Whyyy!!
Jeezzz only 40 minutes to go! After how many hours is it available on Netflix exactly?
It airs in Korea at 21:00 KST (17:30 IST) and is on Netflix at 23:00 KST (19:30 IST). The episodes are longer than an hour, basically within an hour of when it finishes airing.
My Okay family I am curious to know what time it is when you'll be watching the episode ? And what is your favorite…
This show is so visually pleasing that I NEED a dark room to watch it.
For me this airs at 7:30 PM, so i get overly excited since 7:30 AM and browse the comments and stalk the gifs and everything else. When 7:30 pm rolls around i force myself to do random things(which is so hard dont even get me started) until its 10:30pm and I can get an empty living room with the lights off and hog the tv myself and enjoy the most delicious Kim Soo Hyun and Seo Ye Ji.
If anyone is here for a really short review: This show is wholesome and beautiful and wonderful. It won't top your drama list, but it will certainly make you feel warm and fuzzy and provide you with a great time.
Just a reminder to people who are aggressively accusing the author or considering being aggressive to them for…
I think most of us understand the perspective and even see that for a minority of fans it may have been one of the many things that dictated their appreciation for this drama. But a lengthy article talking about how fangirls like this show because of this 'boyband effect' is not something that will escape criticism from a large and diverse fanbase of this drama.
This article is a little hurtful, instead of paying attention I should just move on but here's my opinion:
I think the idea of Untamed being popular because of the 'Boyband Effect' is wrong. There are throngs of Chinese shows with good looking young men, most of them nowhere near as popular as the Untamed. Most Untamed fans are heavily invested in Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji's relationship and there are heaps of fan creations supporting the pair. You might even be inclined to say it is popular because of the BL element, many Untamed fans aren't fans of BL as a genre. It is just that this show has a M-M OTP who have a beautiful love story. It has ghosts, necromancy and sects and a journey between good and evil! It is just a well-executed show with a great plot to back it. Even with the limited production budget, it managed to pull it off and for many reasons became really popular.
I know the author meant no harm and was just putting out a theory on the popularity of the show, and I do how one could come to the conclusion that 'The Boyband' effect is happening here especially when you look at the interviews with the young, good looking Untamed boys presented as a set. Despite all of that, I think this article takes a really narrow view and is kind of hurtful to a large group of fans of a fantasy story who are being called 'rabid fangirls fawning over hot boys'. I am too old to fantasize about celebrities as my boyfriend. t's not necessary to take one of the small reasons this show is popular and paint the fandom as 'rabid fangirls'.
Dropping this, the show is pretty boring. I watched until episode 4. The plot seems very redundant with the traumatic past resulting in cold ML, a bubbly FL breaking his mold, a clingy confidant of the ML being jealous all that jazz. Plot movement is slow and the romance hasn't sucked me in. The humour is non-existent.
The dubbed voice on Liang Jie is not convincing since I'm used to her natural voice. I mainly started watching since I'm her fan but the different voice makes me feel like I'm not even watching her.
First impression: Plot seems like a cookie-cutter rom-com of rich, cold ML and an poor, extrovert FL. The sets and styling are good. Enough intrigue to keep me going.
The thing is..the drama isn't even romanticizing her behaviour like literally everyone is reprimanding her for…
Exactly and like literally everyone including the ML who is incredibly physically attracted to her tells her to stay away cause she is just an empty shell.

Go ahead and watch it!
