The more of these you watch the more you notice the pattern that over 95% of vertical dramas, the MLs are literally NPCs with gradations of importance the writer allows after checking all the sjw plot points needed for the script.

Edit: Saw the many, many YT comments under the drama totally frustrated with the prolonged misunderstanding trope. Glad my "blink" assessment was validated by others who wasted time watching a lot of the drama before abandoning it.

Good character arc keeps us invested in both leads and for their happy ending. The make-up department were the real MVP. They did a great job decking up the FL from girl to woman. One of the better roles for the ML imho. Story itself is straightforward, it's the slow burn romance, mostly initiated and pursued by the girl that kept it engaging. Felt that FL's proposal to ML was great, then ML's proposal to her in the end blew hers out of the water 😃 The "similar dream" sequences for both FL and ML getting their respective parents' permission spiritually was quite original! Thanks for this review. Helped my decision to ignore it. Contrived misunderstanding for its own sake, obsessed second leads, unreasonable jealousy, obligatory "drunk cute" etc. etc., are all long time banes in the east asian entertainment genre.
Life is too short to wallow in self inflicted misery. Might as well watch good ol' fashioned, mood enhancing escapism!
Very nice drama. Great acting. Her spur of the moment love confession and kiss steal was top class. Then his love confession went two notches above and blew hers out of the water!!
Very cute pair of leads. The best part of such love stories are the support cast. They all play cupid so well, push the romance forward in every way. This one was no different. Seems the entire town knew they loved each other madly and were cheering them on, before those two were even sure if it. 😂😂
The age difference was also done very tastefully. The girl pursuing him not just as a crush, but as a love interest was a neat touch. The 4 year wait to get her into 20s was a good plot armour.
