This was a great article. I also watched HP and Reply 1988 for the first time during this quarantine and really they were the most beautiful and realistic ones I had ever watched. It kind of changed my way of thinking and living. And again this article was awesome so keep it up!
This is article is just awesome and relatable. I and my sister enjoy watching kdramas and listening to kpop together. I am obviously the Kdrama addict and my sister being the kooppper a.k.a free concert maniac. Although sometimes we get into conflicts regarding our views of the same but that doesn't lasts long. At the end of the day, it is really great that I have someone to share my view with rather being a lonely soul.
Once again this article was just great and not at all exaggerated. Obviously only Kdrama fanatics will only understand. Keep going! Hwaiting!
This article is just awesome and was worth my time. You are a great writer and you did a great job in blending between the character sketch and the review part without giving much of your personal thought. Moreover you did not give much spoilers which made this article more interesting. To begin with this drama had a light theme without having many deep meaning.Though it used many common and typical Kdrama tropes yet in between those cringy palace rules and cliche scenes, the plot was a little different. Like any other sageuk, the beginning was unique but in the middle it got a bit crappy. But still I felt a little empty after it ended. The OSTs did not captured me so I tried reading articles and I found this. Truly your article described everything I felt while watching this series. Your words are not at all hard to read but the way of writing was interestingly unique. Good job! Waiting for more of this kind of beautiful writing.

Girls Generation 1979 was worth watching. So bad that it was out. You can try it if you like retro style kdramas with light theme but heart touching plot. It's a drama that you find by chance. Surely you would find it charming if you had liked the Reply series and couldn't let go of the retro vibe and obviously the sad ending.
But Splash Splash Love is quite good especially if you like something rejuvenating but crisp with historical theme and you don't have so much time. I hope you have a good and memorable time with what you are currently watching!
Truely there are very few dramas worth our precious time and dropping the others from our never ending 'Plan to watch' list is the only option. But I would prefer not to start watching a kdrama which is not my cup of tea in the first place rather than drop it half way...it's too much wastage of my precious time. Yet I liked how this article talked about the guilt of dropping a drama and how to overcome it. *P.S. If ever you get tired of dropping dramas and rewatching them and again dropping then I would suggest you to watch • Extracurricular •Hospital Playlist •Reply 1988 •Prison Playbook •Girls Generation 1979 **Hope you would never get bored as much as to drop them.**
I also support your opinion...truly 'Parasite' is a master piece from its plot to its theme. Though I am an India,…
Actually knew this... but still thanks for pointing out. BTW I just meant that they suffered similar history of colonialism...and with that respect I drew the comparison
That's just a load of bullshit... I'm a Tamilian and have watched 'Minsara Kanna' the so called 'inspiration'…
I also support your opinion...truly 'Parasite' is a master piece from its plot to its theme. Though I am an India, I really feel ashamed of this kind of people from my country who go on boasting about themselves who are practically 'nobody' with respect to what they seem to show. And obviously they are 'thirsty' for fame. Someone should teach these kind of people a proper lesson... and for these kind of people who literally don't have any work to do India is still developing. Though India and South Korea became independent on same day... India is still miles away from SK!
