đ ur Dp picture really tells the type of person u are, u r comparing her late teens years to her twenties,…
Oh, honey, if you're going to throw shade, at least make it worth the sunburn. Before you start pointing fingers and crying "plastic," why not come prepared with something a little more concrete than your recycled gossip? Comparing photos from 5-6 years apart? Really? That's like claiming someone cheated on a diet because they didn't look the same in high school. If you're so convinced, bring proofâreal ones, not the kind you get from the rumor mill. And please, let's not drag down other actresses to lift up your fave. The lies are as tired as a rerun and just unimaginative. Honestly, a little originality wouldn't hurt. Come back when you have something more original and, I donât know, factual?
While some edgey cdrama stans is trying to downplay Hidden Love and Love like the Galaxy and even claiming them…
That's what happened to me. It started with "Oh! My Emperor" that had me hooked the moment that donkey scene trotted onto the screenâletâs be real, that was pure comedy gold! But while the ending was as weird as a cat riding a unicycle, I found myself inexplicably rooting for Xiao Zhan rather than the actual male lead. Then came 'The Romance of Tiger and Rose' and 'A Female Student Arrives at the Imperial College,' which had me wondering if Zhao Lu Siâs talent was just a lucky fluke or something more.
But then 'Love Like the Galaxy' and 'Hidden Love' entered the universe, and suddenly I was binge-watching like there was no tomorrow and I became an avid fan.
Zhao Lu Siâs acting was my intro into the world of c-dramas, and let me tell you, it has completely ruined me for other young c-actresses and actors who cannot compare in talent. While many seem to rely more on their beauty, outfits, and props, Zhao Lu Si pulls you into her characters, making you empathize, love, hate, and cheer as if youâre living right there with her. Not to mention she compliments and blends so well with all of her co-stars that she's often called the "Chemistry Queen". Sheâs blessed with a natural talent that some veteran actresses spent years trying to hone. With more experience and the right mentorship, sheâs going to keep dazzling usâand I, for one, am here for every second of it. đ

True, the age and gender of the viewer has an impact on the interpretation of the story. I tend to relate with the female characters. It was enlightening to read your views.

To each their own. In my point of view, Jiaxu never had any romantic inclinations towards Sang Zhi prior to meeting again once she's in college or else why would he let her suffer through her heartbreak at the airport? If he was an introvert and his only interaction with a girl is with Sang Zhi... I don't think that he'd be called a dog... not in western society views anyways. That's what I'm familiar with so maybe it's different. I got the impression that he's a flirt and nice to girls during his college years. That's why he was called a dog. Girls like him and may have approached him, but due to his past/family issues, he never reciprocated to anyone. Romantic love was the farthest thing from his mind and he focused on surviving and getting a good job, for good reasons.
If Sang Zhi had hooked up with anyone else other than Jiaxu, there wouldn't have been a drama to begin with. Without the age gap, it would be very boring đ€
Seeing Xu Kai Cheng effortlessly carry Zhao Lu Si in that BTS is the perfect blend of dreamy and funny. Itâs like heâs saying, âI got this,â while sheâs thinking, âI could get used to this!â The whole thing makes me want to rewatch the drama, just to bask in that strong-and-funny charm. Honestly, scenes like that make a girl swoon, while also cracking up at how perfectly playful they are together. Rewatch, here I come!
So i watched the first part, i kind of enjoyed it. Cinemtography was nice and there were moments that felt like…
Part 2 is as interesting or even more so than Part 1, in my opinion. It's a perfect blend of palace politics, intrigue, and comedy, gripping fight scenes, lovable Niao Niao and LBY scenes and their struggles to find common ground and understanding. And let's not even get started on that epic reveal about LBYâtalk about dropping a bombshell with style!
It's deep, dark, and mesmerizing - keeps you wide awake, heart racing, and glued to the screen. So be prepared to gasp, rewind, and rewatch because you just can't tear your eyes away. Part 1 was the appetizer; Part 2 is the feast.

The visuals, the outfits, the makeup, the poses! Love it! đ Zhao Lu Si has officially graduated from the "cute girl next door" to the "goddess who probably has a fairy godmother on speed dial." Her natural beauty has been upgraded to âunbelievably stunningâ with just the right touch of makeup and style - a beauty evolution that's inspiring.
The girlâs just out here switching up her style, mastering her makeup game, and radiating a natural charm that has everyone shook. And sure, some envious souls are out there whispering about plastic surgery, but let's be realâthe truth is she's just that naturally breathtaking and lovable, and for some, that's a pill too big to swallow. đ
Even the behind-the-scenes of that forehead kiss had a mind of its ownâwhen a simple peck turns into an accidental kiss, you know the chemistry is off the charts! Too cute to handle! đ„°

If you're talking about his birthday in episode 17, they never said it was his 26th birthday. He just said "he hopes that she'll help him get married before he turns 27", which I interpreted as at least a couple of years down the road since he just asked to court her months ago on her birthday, I doubt he expected to marry her next year. Many assumed he turned 26 since in the novel, it was written on his birthday cake and the age gap was 7 years. They shortened it to 5 in the drama because apparently some people doesn't like "large" age gaps. In my opinion, 7 years is nothing.
I really tried to look past the age gap but in episode 23 DJX admits to having a crush on her when he was a college…
Could be the subbing or your interpretation. I watched it on Netflix and my interpretation of episode 23 is that Jiaxu's smooth lie "Back then, I had a crush on her. I was too embarrassed to say it," was to protect Sang Zi from awkward questions from his friends when they were questioning why Jiaxu said Sang Zi was his sister years ago when they were taking pictures at their graduation. This was also said in front of her brother, and from Sang Yan's reaction, it was obviously a lie. Sang Zi had a teenage secret crush on Jiaxu that developed into secret love when she was 17 and he was 22.
Jiaxu was never interested in Sang Zi while she was in high school. That's the reason, in episode 24, he said that he treated her badly because he has been blind to her feelings for years and thus she had to suffer from a one sided love and a heartbreak that he wasn't aware that he caused.
He only started to notice her when they met again when she's in college at age 18. He admitted, in episode 25, that he started to like her during the first snowfall of her freshman year. Jiaxuâs feelings for Sang Zi developed over time when they are both adults.
That's why some fans say that Sang Zi fell first but he fell harder. Jiaxu's tumble into love was like a slow-motion crashâonce he acknowledged it, there was no going back. By episode 12, itâs not just love; itâs game over, end credits, heâs all in. đ
"Love's Ambition" continues to deliver fashion masterpieces. This dress is lovely âpure white meets the perfect shades of blue, with a romantic shimmer and dreamy silhouette that flatters and a skirt that flows like poetry. I'm in love! Itâs like style goals wrapped in romance, pure inspiration! đđâš
This scene with Zhao Lu Si and William Chan was like a cozy, warm hug on a rainy dayâso sweet, you could almost feel the butterflies! Xu Yan and Hao Ming's connection is undeniable, even with the web of lies looming over them. It's those tender moments that make you root for them, knowing that the deeper their love, the more intense the heartache will be. But oh, when they finally overcome it all? We'll be cheering like crazy, because watching their love grow stronger is the kind of emotional payoff that makes every tear worth it!
I miss watching Hidden Love like I miss my snacks during a binge-watch sessionâZhao Lu Si and Chen Zhe Yuan's love story is the perfect blend of sweet, awkward, and irresistible. Now, whoâs going to fill this drama-sized hole in my heart? đ
Oh, absolutely, ZLY is also a queen in her own right. You see, real admirable people support and cheer each other on. So stop being so jealous and bitter, QueenArya. Smile, be positive, and be happy that when you look in the mirror, there's at most one rabid fan staring back at you. And as for the $5 army theory, it's a bit rich, don't you think? đ I'd happily support Lu Si and my fave actors who not only entertain us but also inspire the world to be better. All for free and a wink. đâšđ
Do you need 5 dollars to give your lips some CPR? Not everyone can be as lucky as Lu Si with those naturally perfect pouty lips. đ
Zhao Lusi isn't just lighting up the Chinese entertainment sceneâshe's blazing trails internationally too! Our girl is making serious waves with her recent slew of brand sponsorships, nominations and awards. Her latest nod? A nomination for the Best Female Lead in a TV Programme/Series for her role as Sun Tou Tou in âGen Zâ at the 2024 ContentAsia Awards, which honor Asiaâs top-tier video and TV content. This accolade is just another feather in her cap, underscoring her rising star power and undeniable talent. Keep shining, Lusi!
i'm so glad Lusi was chosen to portray NiaoNiao , i can't imagine someone else in this character đthe author…
I totally agree!. It's like Lu Si was born to bring Niao Niao to life. She's that rare gem of an actor who can have you laughing your head off one minute and ugly crying the next - it's messy, real, and raw.
Pretty crying? Yeah, that's not how life works. Sometimes things get so tough and ugly, you just have to let it all out in an epic, snot-filled sob fest. Thatâs why I love actors who can nail those raw, intense scenes, and make us feel every gut-wrenching moment, taking us on their emotional rollercoaster. They bring their characters to life so convincingly that it's utterly mesmerizing. Producers who find this kind of raw talent should hold on tightâitâs like striking gold in a coal mine.
Same goes for you my dear @BusyBee.
