I've been avoiding CDRAMAS coz of the number of episodes (and my ADHD just can't keep up) so I'm wondering if this drama is somehow interesting. I'm fine with watching something over 24+ episodes as long as it has to be worth the time and the attention. so if anyone can tell me if this is worth the watch, I'd really appreciate it

p.s. I got attracted to this somehow because I really liked a Korean drama that had an airport setting (I completely forgot the title) and I love planes and airports!!

I couldn't contain my happiness.. After such a long time this drama made me want to see more of what these actors and actresses have in store for us in their next projects! I'm so glad to have witness this from the announcement of casting to now the nearing end of the 2nd season.

Now, I realize why the Hong sisters had to prolong the amnesia arc of the story. A lot of things got clearer for me and there are a few things left to resolve especially with Buyeon's real intentions. Regardless of how this story ends, whether tragically or in a happy ending, I'd like to express my admiration and gratitude to the following people.

SO MIN.. I've always been such a fan of hers and personally, I love her so much in Because this is my first life (kdrama).. SHE DELIVERED and SHE DID REALLY WELL..

YOUNJUNG - First saw her in He is Psychometric, And loved her so much in sweet home. Her appearance in S1 was the reason I watched this series (aside from the story itself). THANK YOU FOR BEING NAKSU. You DELIVERED. And I'm glad a lot of people are showing you love now. I'm happy you proved them wrong.

JAEWOOK - Phenomenal.. Thank you for being JANG UK in this series! I couldn't imagine anyone doing this role. IT'S ONLY YOU.

MINHYUN - I've been a low-key nu'est fan and after knowing you got casted for LIVE ON, I was so excited. After watching you act, I got even more excited knowing you'll have more opportunities. And well, here you are slaying your role as SEO YUL. Thank you.

Thank you for opening my eyes and making me adore shin seungho and In soo. They're going to be the actors I'll look forward to this year and in the next years to come.

I couldn't even imagine how I ended up loving this series the most as someone who got into Korean drama in 2008. Maybe this type of stories/genre is my fave.. Or possibly anything written by the Hong sis really became those memorable stories for me.

For sure, there will be more Korean dramas out there that I'll love in the future, but this story has left such a remarkable memory. Like an engraved name in my heart. ❤️

Thank you for gracing my year (2022) with the best STORY, best CG, best cast, best OSTs, best everything I could ask for.

The casting directors did such a great job of finding perfect similar actresses to portray the roles of NAKSU (CHO YEONG) - MUDEOK - BUYEON And I couldn't ask for more.

This has been such an amazing story and drama for me that even if it ends tragically, I'll always remember how this was one of the highlights of my year (2022) and that everyone in here will be in my radar now and will open-heartedly support each and everyone in this series.

Also, to everyone reading this,
I hope you understand the heart of the writers by this point now.

Even if it's tragic, or doesn't necessarily give off everything y'all ask for by the ending, show appreciation to all the characters and to the cast and staff. ❤️

This masterpiece wouldn't even come to life without them.

exactly! I can't seem to recall season 1 but I think there was a mention of her loosing memories of some sort.. BUT IT MAKES ME ACTUALLY THINK SHE KNOWS EVERYTHING from that very moment she got picked up by the grandma. She even told naksu that she was living off of her body so how dare she was for calling her a relic..

she could've easily gone home knowing how she can always track the energy of nature and seemed to know her way in the village. SO WHY DIDN'T SHE EVEN BOTHER GOING HOME? she's not much of a victim considering she grew up being taken care off the grandma.

maybe she was still a victim.. after all she got pushed off the boat when she tracked the ice stone. but her will and letting someone else use her body was her decision. she TRAPPED naksu's soul inside her.. which makes me think she had this all figured out/planned ever since she sensed naksu's energy when they met..

After reading all the comments here, I just think the biggest victim of them all is really NAKSU.. Jin Bu Yeon was a powerful priestess ever since she was born. When she got washed up to that shore and got taken by the grandma, She would've easily found her way home as the setting is Daeho (which is a fictional place) and usually, places in these stories would also give off this kind of energy that she knows of. So why didn't she even come back?

Makes me think that the biggest villain of the whole story from season 1 and season 2 was her (JBY). People have been pitying her since season 1 saying she was the biggest victim (or Jang Uk) but deep down, Naksu had it all worse. From seeing her father killing their clan to seeing her father being killed, to growing up not knowing what love is, to being trapped in a priestess's body, to having her kill her lover, she has suffered enough. Jin Bu Yeon and Jang Uk on the other hand had loving substitute parents who took care of them,.

Man, I am just really pissed off right now realizing she's been used all her life.

Also, EPISODE 7 was the next best episode this season... We got NAKSU x CROWN PRINCE, NAKSU x SEO YUL and lastly, NAKSU x JANG UK (him finally accepting his feelings for her)

Killing Naksu was what he intended to do during season 1.. He was always a man of principle. Him letting naksu live in season 1 despite knowing her identity was already out of his character. When naksu got controlled and went on a killing rampage, he blamed himself. He knows he could've prevented that from happening with 1. Killing her from the beginning or 2. Taking her away from everyone (his original plan) and have her stay in his hometown since Jinmu wasnt even aware of naksu back then.

Him thinking about killing Buyeon now makes sense for his character. He wanted to correct what was supposed to be done before. And as he is already dying by letting the blood worm feed on his energy (he suffered since the heartbreak was much painful than the physical pain being inflicted by that parasite) he's thinking why not just do what he needed to do and at the same time die? Since he was dying anyway.

Man... His decisions are painful for me..

Based on the long trailer before, Seo Yul was seen fighting in purple clothing and that hasn't been aired this season yet so I'm guessing he will be at the final battle (songrim x cheonbugwan fight)..

But oh boy.. I know he was a man of principle but really? Do you have to have those thoughts??
:( Watched the live stream and I'm not sure if I understood him right but he's trying to correct what he was supposed to do during season 1.. and that is to kill off naksu (the moment he recognized her) and now, as he was already dying, to correct that, he wanted to die with naksu as well. DAMN IT..

How i wish the original queen just died with the shaman in season 1.... I hate her so much.

So will there ever be a season 3? I feel like they should just end this story this season as well.
I'm not sure how they'll fit everything in the last 4 episodes.. But hopefully all 4 episodes will be full of fight scenes and more angst.

no... but you're right.. I only had 3 couples I was OBSESSED with ever since starting kdrama back in 2008..

and these 3 series with the main couples are,
1. DOTS
2. CLOY
and now
3. AOS

but somehow.. kinda scared with these things. 1st couple divorced, 2nd happily married with a child.. so hmmm. let's see where they go from this. LOL

I personally, would want that too! ❤️ the only downside when YJ and JW dates after this show is when they break up.. The magic and their chemistry dies at that point and rewatching this series would be hard. just like how descendants of the sun was something I considered to not ever watch again (I used to be obsessed about that drama too) because of the divorce...

the difference is, I know for sure this is fanservice and go youn jung would want to achieve more first than date anyone at the moment.. I'm just really glad they've been paired up like this.. too bad it's only 10 episodes.. I hope they can be paired up again just like how somin and in guk got paired up 3 times now.

at this point, with jaewook and youn jung uploading pics of each other, I'll end up petrified first than Jinmu.

I have! That's why it's so hard to see another drama with almost the same genre as bulgasal or AOS.. As a fan myself, I feel like I've watched every drama out there of ths genre. TT_TT.... I guess I'll rewatch bulgasal to kill off time.

I hate the fact that I keep on listening to Blue Flower internalising the lyrics and feel sorry for myself for feeling this way.. feeling the pain in Jang Uk's POV even though this was a fictional story...

my take on that was, when he first saw her telling her he can't cry, he was seeing MUDEOK. but after waking up (c'mon... I know he's already sober by that time), I do think, he kissed Buyeon (naksu) as a sign that he will be embracing this new found comfort and will be moving on.. it's like announcing that he's ready to move on and accept this new person in front of him.
