Typical pathetic villain? No! he isn't that at all. Quite the opposite in fact, you just don't understand his…
you make valid points, and i love suho as much as the next guy and i want him alive and well, but he is not completely innocent either. unintentionally, he did escalate the situation with beomseok because they both refused to communicate due to their egos and stubbornness. sure, beomseok is pathetic, but i just think how his downfall was implied from the very beginning was masterful, and despite being negatively developed, he was a well written character. remember character =/= person! :))
sieun is such a layered and well developed character, he seems cold on the outside but is actually a softie at heart...did we watch the same show?
it wasnt "because of youngyi", that was just him tossing out blame on other people, there were other reasons as to why it happened
also how was the ost too cheesy? search up "kdrama osts" and you'll mainly get ones from romantic dramas with badly written and cringe lyrics about love, and half the time it doesnt even fit in the drama 😠the music here was so masterful and a punch to the gut

this isnt me defending his actions btw > it's me saying that he is a character who is not a villain just for the sake of having a villain. Villains are supposed to be pure evil. Beomseok is not that. Take a "typical villain" example from popular dramas (niragi from alice in borderland, gwinam from all of us are dead, jungyeong from revenge of others), these characters have no layers to them and they are purely an obstruction in the hero's path. Was beomseok ever a wedge between sieun / suho and their goals? NOPE!
This drama filled me with rage. I refuse to understand nor forgive Beom Seok. He's the typical pathetic villain…
Typical pathetic villain? No! he isn't that at all. Quite the opposite in fact, you just don't understand his character, and you literally said you refuse to so I can't help you there, but i suggest you watch this video https://youtu.be/YD5gdtnGILk?si=BNmY2eNWniX0hV1j
time to grow up? this masterpiece is largely adored by everyone who has watched it (it doesnt have one of the all time highest ratings on this website for no reason like that!) but somehow we are the problem? just admit you're tasteless and go ðŸ˜
