i asked my irl korean friend about this, and she said it's way worse than what they show in dramas...and they can't tell their parents because apparently that adds fuel to the fire and "ruins family reputation" or what not, this shit pisses me off, i feel so bad for those kids.

and yet there are some people still fantasising about going to korean schools to see hot guys 😭 after hearing that the glory case was inspired by a real event in 2006, i was like IM FINE LOOKING AT THEM THROUGH JUST MY SCREEN

trust me, don't compare the two of them. the show covers Sieun's (gray) backstory before he moved to Eunjang. so since the stories are different there's no point comparing.

watch it as its own thing! it's the best show i've ever watched tbh 😭

yess fr i will be mad if he doesnt sweep at the baeksang awards this year. he worked so hard on this show!!

GIRL BAND LOOKING PRETTY BOYS??? i can guarantee you two things here. 1 - JIHOON IS NOT ONE OF THEM! my guy is a natural beauty, manly, hot, and an amazing actor, and 2 - this hasn't happened in any kdrama ive seen other than true beauty

there's definitely other aspects as well. it revolves a lot around friendship, family, love, care, and stuff like that too. for me this wasnt the most violent kdrama ive seen. the glory, revenge of others, penthouse, and king of pigs were way worse.

this isnt the type of show where it's the violence that hurts, it's the way in which they use the violence on the characters (i hope that makes sense :p)

for this show the violence is done in moderate amounts where it's required. superhero kids' movies these days have worse.

there's literally no point comparing the show and the webtoon. they cover two completely different stories from two different times in Sieun's life.

This is how Sieun was in his old school before he moved to Eunjang. Suho's fate is why he's so unhinged and angry all the time. Ofc it took him at least one whole episode to start kicking ass here, they had to build up the tension and it was totally worth it in the end.

also jihoon's acting was absolutely mind blowing. everyone was great. this drama is just so well made that even as a webtoon reader, part of me cant help but prefer it just as much, if not more tbh

i think it's just people shipping the characters because of the obvious queercoding hehe, it's the same case with weak hero class 1 which i absolutely adoree

at a distance spring is green didnt have a romance between the two male leads in the webtoon either though. it was between one of the male leads and the other's brother. but still they shouldnt have removed it

nope, i dont think they can, or should for that matter remove the bl part because the actor didnt want to do it, that isnt how it works.

remember he signed up for the project even before the news came, so he probably wanted to go through with the romance part as well...

the homophobia pissed me off. you know the reason they removed the bl part is not because the actor is well known when they signed up for the project before they announced this. which means chanyoung would have actually wanted to go through with the whole romance part as well.

why make bl adaptations and then take that part out???? it's like me trying to bake a cake without baking soda or something. this is literally pure homophobia atp and i hope they know they're going to lose a huge audience who was actually excited for this.

like what is the plot even going to be if you just straight up remove the lgbt romance??? a bunch of high schoolers fighting violence and injustice?? we already have weak hero class 1 and yall can't TOUCH the masterpiece that show is. when will yall start getting serious with stuff like this like seriously

if we wanted to watch something straight there's millions of shows out there already. start tending to minority groups like PLEASE.
