Exactly. I also have a problem with Gagaoolala, as they have recently added so many of the poor quality thai dramas. There are some I actually decided to ignore after watching the first 20 minutes.
Looks like Thailand went for easy money producing the same stuff with the same actors and it is worse and worse evry time.
As loong as these productions find their fandoms, the quality will lower even more.
I got so angry with the Paint With Love: good actors and the writing sucked terribly. What a shame..
Sei No Gekiyaku is a diamond , somehow japanese and korean stuff is always better ....

Yaoi is a pure fantasy.
Relations shown in yaoi do not even exist. The homoerotic love is so much far from the one portrayed in BL. Yaoi is a fantasy created by women for women and the rape there is never really a rape. In yaoi, paradoxally, the forced sex is kinda higher level of the romance..:D
Some 70 %-90% of yaoi manga contains forced sex. This is the core of it. This is seme and uke dominative-submissive relationship, ant this fact is already an interlude.
Please, take it easy.
The problem begins if you decide to you see these movies as realistic. They are not!
Please go to Gagaoolala and watch some real LGBT stuff, and I dont mean porn, so you can have an idea what the real gay relationship looks like. And what the real rape looks like and how it is shown and judged.

In this fairy tale the "rape" is not a rape. It is a desperate act of convincing the other of love. Just enjoy it. We all know that you will not become an evil rapist from watching it. Nobody will.

Absolutely senseless. I am a bit tired with the thai series, they have become so naive. A guy comes to a hotel and is instantly, like.. at the door, attracted to the first young guy he meets while the receptionists from the start talk about love. Come on.
The main leads: Thur is amazing. What an intensive look in his eyes. This movie is so much below his abilities. I was actually upset to see this actor in such a childish story!..
The second actor: ok, but somehow couldn't stand his haircut...:)
Watching him play was impossible as I would all the time think that his haircut was so damn bad idea!

I don't know how about you, but I am tired with thai dramas, their mannerism gets on my nerves. I definitely prefere some raw LGBT cinema to this fairytale.

We need to remember that it is Yaoi, a fantasy. And nothing more than a fantasy.
There was no rape there. There was a struggle. It ended up with a harmony.

I must disagree here. I think we have become too sensitive over the things and we tend to really exagerrate. If we continue, we will have to condemn half of literature and movies, fairy tales included, because they show people forcing others to do things.
So I would say, this is yaoi world, and this is a fantasy. It is not a real world even if it is based on a true story.

There are no data showing that girls after watching yaoi agree to be sexually abused or they abuse other people. They watch the movie, dream a dream and come back to their normal life.
Coming back to the movie: what we saw here was a desperate way to convince the other of real feelings, and although Zi Ming was struggling against Cheng Yi, at first, he eventually surrended and we saw him happy after that. It couldn't be rape then. And let's stick to that.

I think it is supposed to be followed by the season 2: the finale is not really an end to the story, plus the second couple: nothing was finished here... I am convinced we will soon hear about the continuation. And I hope it will come soon...<3

It is a sweet drama, good acting, cute actors, nice dialogs, the second couple is great!
You were all expecting hot juicy sex scenes - impossib;le in China - but aren't you happy with the emotions on high tune?
It was lovely!
At the other hand you complain on the forced sex scene, so first: it is a fantasy and hell, havent you ever read yaoi manga? And second: it was not really forced, since they loved each other! I found it more like desperate and hopeless attempt to convince the other that the mutual feelings are real.
It was absolutely lovely and I wait for the season 2 ! <3

I find it sweet actually. China cannot go for hot scenes, so it gives us emotions instead. And it is lovely.

I will try to be positive in my review, so I will say, that I am very sorry for the actors, who played in this drama. They are ok, even if they are just beginners and they burned some scenes, the story could be better if it the dialogues were not that meaningless and if the circumstances were not so unreal: imagine a medical doctor sleeping with their paient in the hospital room. Imagine all hospital personel 25 years average and possible beauty contest winners. Imagine the world that consists of clean, shiny absolutely even surfaces and luxury cars. Imagine a dog that appears out of nowhere just to be the cause of the lead character fall and his disc slip out...come on..
But even this would be ok if not the pace that allows me to go to the toilet, then the kitchen, make myself a sandwich and coffee and loose absolutely nothing...
There were BTS just at the end of the episode 2, and these guys said, that there were some kissing scenes shot already. Ok, I will fast forward watch the next eps, I need to see the scenes, how could I loose the opportunity, when one of them said that the other one liked them!

BTW, this movie is directed by pinku film director, Yumi Yoshiyuki, and you better check the titles of her movies...hhh...so pls do not expect that much...
I still appreciate it though. I like the lead actor and I am happy he had a main role in a mainstream movie too.

Funny, I enjoyed the movie inspite of its flaws...it has some really good scenes.
Maybe apart from the moment of this guy walking the beach in his pants... ;)
