Disney doesn’t write script and it doesn’t direct.. you are just being stupid deciding the drama is bad because of the platform it is on. honestly no one will be missing you just don’t watch it, but you also don’t have to comment here saying bad things about it (before its even out) like just ignore the page if it annoys you so much…

i mean even if he was in love as a supposedly very capable and successful drug gang leader i feel like a certain level of intelligence should’ve been written into his character to qualify but it seemed all words and no action…. no love is supposed to lower your IQ 100 points like that and be so clueless, but well its my opinion at the end of the day.

i think another thing the drama failed at is showing that Joonmo cared enough about Gichul to let him go before that scene..
Joonmo seemed to always borderline detest him the whole time with only catching him in mind and we even saw him smirking when Gichul said that he remind him of himself. Then suddenly we are supposed to believe he cared enough to give him the key to let him go away? the only explanation i have in my mind is that it was for his wife but even then..

its not just that. even from the beginning before FL i never intimidating or gave any gang leader vibes. he wasn’t just “soft” but also stupid af. if he was ever a good and capable gang leader he shouldn’t be that stupid and blind even if in love

and? i know. they are divorced and i said that so obviously they both removed their rings.

i mean depending you who you are rooting for? yeah they got divorced but it was inevitable and at least he got his promotion and has a good future for his career as a detective

they clearly did get divorced tho.. he didn’t even look at her the whole ending and it’s obvious from her expression they are divorced. he also put the ring on Gichul’s grave its just too obvious. you should learn to read between the lines since not everything has to spilled out.

Yeah I would've loved a bit more tension and for it to be more close and equal but instead I didn't feel any threat at all (not even in the last scene between them) and didn't get intimidated by him at all.

true, she literally killed that detective for him even though he lied to her. Honestly I felt bad for her, she clearly was born into this live but didn't love it and was tired of it, so I was glad she got away

literally it wasn't mentioned who divorced who and imo it was clear that Joonmo was the one who did it because he felt like things can't go back especially with him killing Gichul (to not make her feel guilty) while she was looking at Joonmo during the whole last scene.
also, I don't really think she like Gichul that much. she did have affections to him obviously but I still feel like he she loved her husband more. its just unfortunate circumstances.

at the end of the day, what did Euijong ever contribute to the investigation? she truly doesn't deserve that promotion.
one could argue that she removed some suspicion from Joonmo, but the suspicion began because of her and who her husband is so really everything would've been easier if she wasn't in the investigation to begin with. She didn't even drag any info out of him and relay it to Joonmo or smth like I thought would happen when she started getting close to Gichul. Overall, she was just there in between hoping that both of the dudes smh get out of this safe but all it did was cause Gichul to die and an inevitable divorce between her and Joonmo

I feel like overall the most underwhelming character was Gichul. He didn't feel like a gangster, and he wasn't intimidating at all the whole time. I don't know if that was on purpose or because Wi Hajun looks young; he just seemed pathetic, especially during the last few episode, which was sad to see.

ikr? I don't know what I expected but this definitely wasn't it. It was just so underwhelming and didn't leave any impact at all. like literally didn't feel much during that scene or the ending, and was like oh... ok ... this happened that happened, the whole time. It was also so predictable? not one thing that wasn't expected occurred.

overall, I did like it but I couldn't help but feel like the ending was all over the place and underwhelming, and I also felt sorry for almost everyone even the antagonists like Gichul who was betrayed by who he loved and Haeryeon who unexpectedly protected Joonmo (felt bad for her the most since she was born into this life and clearly didn't like it). Obviously, they got divorced as we see Joonmo put his ring on Gichul's grave but that was expected like how can they even go back to living a loving married couple life? they are both now at the same level tho with Joonmo being promoted two ranks and her one rank lmao.
I feel like a lot of plot points where ignored tho? what was even the point of bringing Joonmo's dad into this if all he was going to contribute to the episode was the detective bribing him to shut up? I thought it was a weird choice, also I wish we could've seen all of them in jail or something like Seo and Hwang.
