From the manga spoilers I read, Mino mental health is truly in the gutter. He really needs help.
Unfortunately all characters are messed up in a way. Suzu Actually likes Sanda, and Sakura likes Mino and is manipulating him cause she liked him and wants him to be dependent on her instead of actually helping him.

I read that Mino gets dependent on Sakura and gets addicted to alcohol. He then attempts to take his life but Sanda helps him, which is beautiful is a way considering what happened with Sakura.
Those all are from volume synopsis and summaries so idk the details. Curious how the drama adapts all this.

Honestly the number one thing I am curious about is the basis of the criminals choosing the victims!!
And why does this organization (??) have people all over Asia. Also, why are the victims numbered??? with 7 victims all I can think of is the 7 deadly sins. In that case I can see the detective being wrath and so on for example. Why tho even do that?

I can't imagine discovering that my brother who I admired and loved is the worst of the worst and trash in the shape of a human. Yokohama was great in the role tho!! he played him really well for me to hate the character this much.

Unrelated but I actually really loved the teacher!! Yeah she was annoying in the beginning with her shopping addiction but she genuinely cared for Ainosuke and he really needed an adult who loved and cared about him in his life since he had no one. She was lowkey funny too lmao

Tbf I think that was the point. The money he got wasn't large enough for him to just quit his job and do something drastic. It was more like a backup plan that was in his bank account that mad him more courageous to do decision he wouldn't have usually done.

The preview of episode 4 with Sayako telling Hanae that her husband deserves the death penalty gave me the ick.....
Like ZERO empathy for anyone but herself and her ideologies.... Didn't think of their position for a second. She acted as if she cared about Saori but the moment she heard the story she screams death penalty over and over....
Like not every murder is your child and your situation. Just felt so selfish and self absorbed.

In the manga Ichinose kills Nikaido really early on and so most of the Nikaido we see in the movie is actually Ichinose himself. He has been hallucinating her out of guilt from killing her.
He imagines her as this evil person who manipulated him into bad decisions and killing other kids.

Throughout the manga he was like the strong are the ones who are gonna survive.
In the end when only him and another student who always refused to kill are left, he was gonna leave him in the beginning, but he sacrifices his life to save that student so he remains human.
At the very ends the surviving student is woken up from the cold sleep by a scavenger ship but discovers one of them was one of the students in the ship who he thought has died. Apparently the whole thing was a psychological experiment and that student was sent by whoever did this 💀
so basically all these kids died for an experiment
