I've been thinking of watching this.... LOL! I'm a radiologist who works around radiologic technologists (it's a bachelor of science college degree in my country, a few technicians also take it as a two-year associate course, like elsewhere in the world). I also used to teach at a radiologic technologist school, and the hospital where I work now accepts internships.
I don't condone such a relationship in real life (anyone old enough to remember that real life story of a 12 year old and his married 30 something teacher will probably agree with me - they eventually married, if anyone is wondering, after she served her jail sentence, also the current French president married his former teacher - they even thought he liked her daughter), but I actually enjoyed this drama. As I have already seen the drama at halfway mark as of this comment, I will say (no spoilers here) situation was shown and dealt with in the most realistic manner as one can possibly imagine. That's something I truly appreciate with this drama. I am looking forward to the upcoming episodes. Breathtaking cinematography and acting is on point.
I have only seen Boys Over Flowers. I probably will watch the Japanese version and it's sequel, but I'm still on the fence with this one. A lot of the people I know who have watched both the Taiwanese version and this latest Chinese version seem to enjoy the Taiwanese version more. They say the Chinese version is somewhat "sanitized"... Whatever that means... LOL!
For Japan, Oda Nobunaga and Miyamoto Musashi were not mentioned but they were good plus it's also "based on actual…
I did not include Goyo as it was still not shown when I did my part of this article. I saw very negative review of it though, so it seems not to be everyone's cup of tea. LOL! Now we'read awaiting the one about President Aguinaldo after the 2nd of the promised trio! (For those who do not know, Heneral Luna was the 1st).
Amazing article! You should write more! Second female leads provide the twists and turns of drama land. They are a necessary evil at times, but they also deserve our love and respect. ♡ I've seen both Love in the Moonlight and Bromance in the above list. I would recommend both. I actually liked Love in the Moonlight better than Scarlet Heart Ryeon, and I watched them one after another.
um hey y'all in the comments...pls stop seeing pedonoona as a good thing...cos it's absolutely not. any form of…
PedoNoona is creepy, not funny. I used to college level and now teach graduate school level. I see all these young people as my kids. I don't find this acceptable.
I enjoyed this movie. I watched it just a few months back, from someone's recommendation for a romcom. It definitely rang true to me (I was a teenager in the '90's). I thought an article about it was already written on MDL. I'm glad you wrote this one.
Ooohhhhh... I already have recommendations for this one. Filipino Entertainment basically dwells in fantasy land.…
I highly recommend Amaya. Don't let the 165 episodes scare you away. This was a hit in Cambodia and other Southeast Asian countries It is very well made. It was actually even shown in South Korea. For a movie, I recommend the superhero action fantasy Super Noypi. You will find Sandara Park (Dara of 2NE1) in this older movie. Placing this in spoilers as I may use these in my fantasy recommendations if we decide on that article in the future.
I thought an article about it was already written on MDL.
I'm glad you wrote this one.
It's also on Viki but not available everywhere, I-flix also, but is only in a few Asian countries.
Super Noypi is on YouTube, copy though is not HD: https://youtu.be/ozFZOOCFKBo
