I loved the unique and rather creepy take the ML had, his demeaner and way of talking and looks were 😘 And when you see all of the BTS with Wu Jin Yan and how she did all of her action scenes and stunts and wirework. She was beyond awesome! I thought we would have a lot more scenes of her between badass. And then to turn into a damsel in distress. Sad.

She's the start of the downhill ride isn't she? Or I guess continuation of the downhill slide since they already hosed up the ML and FL's love story.🥺 Did Liu Xue Yi lose a whole lotta weight for these last few episodes? He looks gaunt and so sad. He is playing the part of completely in love and heartbroken so well I'm having constant tears in my eyes. 🥹 And those damn girls from Xiyan getting in the way AGAIN! Why do they all hate the ML so badly? I've never quite understood that. At least brother Wei is trying to stick up for the ML. 😔 I can't help but think that the only food they have in this world is those pretty red flower cookies. 😂 Good doctoring skills. I can't even with those people! It's time for Great Yan to just come in and destroy that country. They are all evil assholes.🤬 And brother Wei you are now on my shitlist too. The poor ML, he's lost everything. 💔😭I wanted to see the ML and FL get back together damn it. Episode 27. What happened to the badass assassin who could fight and take down an army of men? Has the FL turned into just a weeping damsel in distress? How disappointing. And yes she has been drugged with muscle relaxers or whatever but don't forget the fight scenes where she was badly wounded and still took down bad guys.
The look and feel of this series continue to be so breathtaking! I think this is the most beautiful xianxia I've seen so far.💖 And Zhao Yuan Zhou's hair is so outstanding it deserves to be mentioned in the cast list! The way the camera lovingly shows the hair billowing in the breeze in slow motion . Dazzling! ✨
