That would be nice. Itβs just too sad to see ML struggles alone and died so miserably in that cold winter.
I just rewatched the ending, again. πThis is going to be one of those stories that will stay with me for a long time. But nothing now playing or any upcoming dramas are catching my interest. I need a palate cleanser!
I wonder what ever happened to little Ming? πΏIt would have been nice to at least see the ML sitting and petting Ming and then all Ming's descendants over the years so he had someone to keep him company....π’
Goes to show how great the actors were. We fell in love with him and want to see MORE happiness for him. The ending…
Yes! An epilogue would be fantastic. Like they did for The Double since that ending also sucked swamp water. (Was he dead, alive, was it all a dream???? The most beautifully staged and shot breathtakingly worthless scene that was!)
same here - I would've love to see them jump together in a hug and then a kiss too - and if even possible some…
Wouldn't that have been fantastic! Some happy times together since we really didn't see much of that in ancient times. Especially after having to watch the heartbreaking life the ML lived, who ended up so alone and lonely, with no one remembering the Shen family except him. He built the frickin' diner just so he could remember the FL, and also in hopes that some day she just might come back! Only to die alone and unloved. π Damn, I'm tearing up again....
They are completely different stories and the feel is quite different between the novel and drama. The novel is very calm and adult, and like riding a boat down a gently flowing river. The drama is sorta silly and upbeat and manic at times like doing a bit of white water rafting! π
Blame the screenwriters, not the novel's author. The novel and the drama have absolutely nothing to do with each other. Except the FL's and ML's names and possibly a few other characters too. There is a princess that the FL is good friends with? It's been a while since I read it. But no family transmigration and then returning to the future. The FL has no family. The FL transmigrated but the novel really doesn't go into details. She died in the future and woke up in the past in the recently deceased body of Shen Shao Guang.
So it's gonna end like that. Now I ..don't want to watch it anymore haha. Nvm I'll catch up later than dropping…
Agree! The actors are fantastic and deserved better. And I've never had any desire to write fan fiction before but this is really tempting me! We can definitely write a better ending can't we?
Having read through some comments here I've decided to not pay extra for the express this time. Why pay for pain? I'm not really into that sort of thing personally...π It sounds like they took my least favorite ending type, the red umbrella. They go back to modern times, the FL is heartbroken, the ML is heartbroken. Their lives are destroyed. Many years/lives/whatever later one of them sees (possibly, we don't know cause we never see both their faces) the other from a distance with a red umbrella, they start to smile and...cut! The end! No hugs, kisses, happy ending. Just use your imagination and hope that it was both the ML and FL and they do get together and have a happily ever after. Yeah, definitely won't be paying for that.π’π’π’
I'm trying to give this one a chance cause Gong Jun π₯°βοΈπͺ but damn it's a snooze fest so far to me. π΄Every 5 seconds they are throwing another new assassin at us and if I didn't have multiple monitors I wouldn't be able to keep any of them straight! Even with the cast list I'm having a hell of a time cause their photos don't look anything like their characters and I've no idea what their names are. πOh well, the fight scenes are great. So far none of them are 'good guys', right? They are all bad guys, including the ML. Of course, 'assassin' says it all, right? π€£ That lady physician isn't the FL is she? Cause damn, how irritating! π€ And I just knew she was a traitor to boot so what, she'll end up killing the patriarch and then the ML has to live with the guilt? Which leads me to episode 5, why the hell did the ML jump into the pit of doom with her instead of protecting the patriarch like he was sworn to do?π€ (getting ready to delete this post in case it causes a bunch of people to get their knickers in a twist! π)
OMG! What a sublime Greek chorus, commenting to the audience on everything the scenes say and what is behind them…
Maybe we will both be surprised and they actually end this well? π€Yeah, right....oh well. π In my imagination when the FL pushes the ML to safety, she doesn't die, the butterfly whisks her away to safety. They find out the ancestor is not the ML it's someone else (who, I don't know, but does it matter?). The ML and FL get married and they live happily ever after in ancient times. Then many years later the ML and FL, after living out their happy lives, both pass away, only to wake up in the modern world (with her lovely family) and get to live happily ever after. Again,π Yes, I like that ending!
Dang I was really hoping this drama would have a nice happy ending since for the most part it's been a fun and lighthearted story. But so far it doesn't look that way does it? π’ From what we see in the opening credits we still have a wedding in ancient times to happen between the ML and FL. And then she dies in a fire. π€ So we have 5 more episodes to get the story actually moving forward. And from the previews of episodes 28 and 29 it's not moving yet. That brings us to 3 episodes to somehow pull the story together and.... 1. The ML has to clear his family's name and punish the bad guys 2. The ML and FL get married in ancient times 3. The FL appears to die in ancient times after pushing the ML to safety, possibly to go back to her own times cause I saw a butterfly? π¦ How is anything of this going to be accomplished in so few episodes? I foresee rushed ending and no satisfaction. Please let me be wrong! π€ We know that the ML is going to be impeached, then attacked by his adopted brother and henchmen and badly injured, then sewn up by the FL. Then he's holding the FL prisoner? What? π€ Why is it cdrama screenwriters can't figure out how to do happy endings? I hope I'm wrong on this and somehow we get a happy ending. I saw the video with the ML as old man dying alone in the snow. I hope that's just a bad fever dream and it doesn't happen! Please, can we have a happy ending? Pretty pretty please with sugar on top?π₯Ί
