For US viewers, on the Moonlit Reunion drama page on the Disney+ website it now shows that Moonlit Reunion is…
Thanks for this! I'm so disappointed that I have WeTV, Viki, and Disney+ but it's not available to watch on any of them! in the US. I suppose it's the 'less-than-honest' route for me too.
You raise a great point. Ultimately, it wouldnβt have been that hard for the good guys to stage a hunting accident…
Yes! You should always go after the big bad.π Of course, a drama like this one would be over in just a few episodes if they took the evil prince out so I guess plot device....whatever! π€£
From what others have said here and from reading the wiki, the green bottle will be explained much, much, much,…
Thank you! I thought it's so important that they had to circle back to the storyline. I'm so curious now π Now I just need to find a good place to read the novel with English subs!
Do they ever say where the ML's green glowy magical bottle of plant gro came from? I'm watching the animation now and I can't help but think if it weren't for that bottle the ML never would have gotten so far so fast in his cultivation. Was it given to him by a god? And why, just for fun?
Finished and I absolutely loved it! The fact that they ended the episode with 'End of Season 1' gives me hope. I really do hope there is a season 2, 3, whatever is needed to finish the story. π€And damn, where are those 10 episodes everyone says were cut to get this down to only 30? I want them back! I want more story! I love the character Han Li. He has his own moral code and doesn't compromise. And despite all the questionable actions he may have taken, at his core he is still a sweet innocent lad. I love the happiness he radiates when he is alone and picturing his future. That last scene...π More please!
Even Wang Chan is kinda campy. Only YunLu seems to be playing it straight.
Yes, I call him a Scooby Doo villain. Actually all of the villains except the big bad have been just terrible Scooby Doo villains. Oh, and that one dude in the gem mine, can't remember his name. He was a good villain. I can't help but wonder why they do that? The story is so damned good but think how much better it would be with good villains, not comedic ones! Like episode 29 (what I'm watching now). Villains 2 and 3, the bald dudes. One looks like a reject from Mad Max and the other like a demented Who from Whoville. Both over-the-top bad actors. How cool would Nangong Wan's fight scene have been with good actors and CGI. (Sorry, had to mention the CGI. For some reason it's really really bad on her fight scene. Really bad!)
Just a thought while I'm watching episode 28. Why can't they find better actors to play villains? The demon aunt and her skull husband are so bad my local community theater could find someone better than that! The demon aunt's fake laugh, my gods director surely you could have done better than that! π
Episode 26. Bad Guy - 'Ok, I won't tell you anything unless you drink this poison.' 'Um yeah, no thanks. How about I take you back to the constable's dungeon and torture you until you tell me what I want to know?' I mean FFS it's time for the good guys to quit being such pussies and grow a pair. I don't like Peacock and he did his damnedest to kill the ML and did his damnedest to get the FL beheaded but at least he isn't dumb enough to drink poison. FFS! π€¦ Seriously, how many time is the ML going to be poisoned/almost die? We had one episode where he was healthy and got to fight. Which is a damn shame cause Wang Xing Yue is really good at fighting and wirework! I want to see strong ass-kicking ML, not dying/on his death bed ML! Lather-rinse-repeat
Episode 26. What a waste of precious screen time to have to watch/listen to Chen lady bitch for 15 minutes about having to get married and awkwardly hitting on the ML, again. There's not enough time left in the series for this crap! Unless that scene ends up being important to the story somehow? Is the robe important?
Comparing real and what we see side by side is cool: https://weibo.com/7833484884/5197436979249622
Thank you for posting this! π I am in awe! The actors and the crew, my gods how hard they worked to make everything look so effortless. They are amazing.π If you find more please share π
