He should have denied it, stuck to his cover identity, and scooted right out of there! 🙄 (Especially since he is technically a married man. He shouldn't be making time and googly eyes with a villain that obviously is psycho obsessed with him. Especially in front of his wife! And also since the psycho obsessed Huo daughter has already set up the FL (his wife) and turned her in to be captured by the cast of Huo villains,. Oh and don't forget she tried to get her daddy's body destroyed, along with the coroner burnt to death? 🤔 All with that sweet psycho smile 😊) Forget it ML, there's no way you are going to be able to justify this to the FL!
Is it wrong of me to really wish the bad guy would have done away with this irritating AF Dong lady? She's just made for getting people killed isn't she?
Episode 24. Yeah, they're finally together. And she still doesn't believe he is who he says he is, despite all the evidence? 😂 New backstory. Dead mom and dad and genetic whatever. I thought they already did a 'when he was a little boy and he broke into their house and stole some food' childhood meet.🤔 A new bad guy. Hacks into her computer, takes it over long enough to show pictures and articles of the ML, then calls her and says something about do you know who he really is. And then come alone to your house to meet me and we'll talk. Damn, she's dumb enough to do that isn't she? One more 10 minute, give or take, episode to go! So, 10 minutes for dumbass FL to go alone to meet the bad guy, the ML to come rescue her, the FL finally believes he is who he says he is, and they live happily ever after? 😉 Or maybe psych! The contract is over I'll be leaving now bye! 😏

Up to episode 6 Calming Waves/The Wanted Detective or whatever you want to call it is seriously creepy and good. The current case bears a bit too much similarity to the Fishing Line Puppet arc from The Seven Relics of Ill Omen but its like the story on steroids. Very creepy! The background music and OST are nailing it for the storyline too. Not sure why people are complaining about the FL. I think she's doing a good job. She knows martial arts and can fight so no damsel in distress crap here. And thank the gods she is not a toddler!!! She's an adult playing an adult. Having to listen to a high-pitched baby voice would have ruined the drama for me 😉 So yes, I'm enjoying it. Lord of Mysteries is in a class by itself. It's so intricate in storyline and animation its just fascinating to watch. And I really can't tell where the story is going. I love that!

Episode 1 & 2. Finally getting a chance to watch. I knew just by the opening credits that this was going to be a creepy and fascinating drama! Throughout episode 1 the background music/sounds and OST have raised the creepiness level just perfectly. 😨 Only complaint I have, when the ML and his father-in-law take the 3 suspects out in the boat, why does the ML melt down so quickly? It doesn't suit his personality. He goes from cocky 100% confident all the time to almost a whimpering mess with just a couple of sentences from creepy old guy with gold tooth. Makes so sense for his character. But damn, that is one of the creepies murder scenes I think I've seen. Except it's too much like the Fishing Line Puppets arc method of death from The Seven Relics of Ill Omen. Since I just recently watched that drama I can't help but think of it first when I see all the red strings through everyone. And why/how did the entire world, including his new wife, turn on him so quickly? I'm guessing he wasn't able to talk due to poison or something but still, everyone knows him and should have given him the benefit of doubt and at least try to determine what happened before deciding to kill him! Holy crap, the end credits and song are excellent!

Heya nice to see you here too! This pretty fun. Don't expect a 'serious' xianxia, it's very campy. Some of the CGI makes me laugh hysterically. You can tell the bad guys by how bad their hair style is! Some of the acting is eh. The music is good. Yang Yang is ethereally beautiful 💖 so I will enjoy it no matter. All in all it's enjoyable and keeps me entertained. 😉
