I'm confused. I thought the whole purpose of the FL being adopted into the Grand Princess's family was so she would be out from under the thumb of the Qin family. So why is she still having to go with the Qin family and those odious sisters to the capital?BTW, I adore the Grand Princess! I am really hoping she goes to the capital too. I want to hear about her adventures when she was young. What a great character!

Episode 14. Yep, getting really tired of the FL slagging off on the ML so hard. Can we please advance the plot already?😡 OMG! Fugui and his interpretive dance! 🤣The guys in the background! I have to keep pausing I'm laughing too hard! 🤣 Oh FFS FL get over it. WTF do you keep blaming the ML with absolutely no proof or reason behind it. And constantly defending the evil General Chu at the expense of the ML. Really really getting tired of this, The ML has done nothing but help her since the scriptwriter changed the storyline. She knows the story was changed cause of the clickety clack of the keyboard she heard! 🤬And now the ML has succeeded in just making the evil General Chu look good in front of everyone. And the FL gives him no credit just constantly slagging off on him for no reason!!!! 😤 I think I'll stop watching this for now. My blood pressure can't take this bitch any longer. It's time to take down evil General Chu, evil Emperor, evil Prince, and now evil FL. Maybe the formerly evil sister will be a better choice as a FL. 😏

I don't think you can blame the novel for the direction this drama is taking. Most of the story has just a very faint passing resemblance to the novel. Like some of the characters names and titles are the same. But the story....nope! And I may be in the minority, but I liked the novel! I would consider pure trashy summer by the poolside type of escapism. 😉
Here we are on Episode 12 and I don't know why they are continuing the counterfeit money/money laundering storyline. The emperor already knows the crown prince is the one behind the counterfeit money. 🤔 Episode 8 I believe is when the ML told him about the crown prince being behind the money laundering through the gambling den and the counterfeit money. The ML gave him the evidence. The emperor just doesn't care and doesn't want to punish him! The emperor basically said blah blah blah too many powerful people are involved blah blah blah. And something along the lines of "I think the Heir will behave himself now"😏 So really, why bother going through this entire storyline if the end result is "eh". 😮💨 There was no need for frolicking in the village in their lovely villager outfits (and killing Granny, don't forget that) since at least to the Emperor this story is dead and gone. But even after leaving the village (rip Granny) the ML and FL are still working the counterfeit money angle? Why? (and just for the record, there isn't any village frolicking in the novel. This seems to have been lifted straight from Kill Me Love. Which is interesting cause that entire segment was like the most boring part of the story!)
FL's looks are just similar to herself in Blossom or the Untamed. Which aspect do you find so fake?And the plot…
When Blossom was first released I thought she looked sort of familiar so I looked at her biography to see what else she might have been in that made me recognize her. I was so surprised that she was Wen Qing from The Untamed I did the picture comparisons then. All I could think is 'That's her? Really?' I think it has a lot to do with the lips too. It's hard for me to judge weight cause she looks just as tiny in this as she did in The Untamed to me. But the lips are definitely inflated!
I did that :). Unfortunatly I was only able to watch the first three epidodes, they were soo good! So sad they…

From the flashback and the way the 2 little boys were looking at each other, I think that the 2ML actually did something that caused the empress to die and blamed it on the ML. Or he witnessed what really happened and was told to say it was the ML who did it. And no matter what the ML said no one believed him. Cause who his family is? Anyhow, everyone has hated the ML since then and his life as been pure hell. Meanwhile the 2ML is the white and shiny knight in armor that can do no wrong. He's Dudley Do-right and the ML is Snidely Whiplash! Or so everyone thinks. And that's why the 2ML hates him so much it's pathological. Cause of the guilt he's lived with for years. The only way to justify his actions is to convince himself the ML is the villain. Anyhow, that's my theory! 🙃

The ML trying on the bunny mask and smiling! 🐰🥺😭 The background music right after the bunny mask bit is so damn perfect I can't stop laughing. 🤣Right when the ML starts telling Fugui he doesn't want the FL to be involved you hear the bum bum bum... Whoever chose the background music is also a genius! Ok, the whole FL constantly saying 'Nan Heng is a sinister man.' 'Nan Heng is a bad man.' 'Nan Heng is a villain.' 'Nan Heng is evil.' is really getting tiring. I know that's the shtick of this part of the story but it's time to move on already. I'm feeling way too much sympathy for the ML and really starting to dislike the FL a whole lot. She heard the clickety clack of the screenwriter's keyboard too so she knows that means the story has changed. And when is the FL finally going to admit that General Chu is the villain? I mean, he practically has a neon sign over his head with an arrow pointing to him blinking VILLAIN in bright colors! But because the first version of the script she read has him as the innocent 2ML she can't think her way out of her ass! Same issue as with the ML. She heard the clickety clack of the screenwriter changing the script. Grow a brain! Actually, I am starting to really dislike this FL. the way she is treating Fugui right now?
