I want more story with this gang! Give us a season 2 and have them be a Scooby Gang fighting the monster of the week. I would watch it!
That was a good ending. It almost made up for the agony of having to set through the worst actress in the universe. Almost.

Episode 31. Yep, this is how you do a villain. Slightly over the top, definitely giving off evil vides. No cackling, bad dubbing, over the top histrionics, and cackling. I know I said cackling before but damn it bears repeating. Just pure villain! (But to be fair the lip synching for him is pretty frickin' bad too.)

Yeah, we should have had less of the worst actress in the universe and more of the last relic. But you're right, how to adapt that to the drama? Yeah, glossing over the story is the best they can do I think. Unless they wanted to change the story completely.

They changed quite a few things from the novel but I think they did a pretty good job of keeping the feeling of the story!

Episode 30. It is a bit unbelievable that our gang plus Mu Dai's Senior was able to successfully take down the worst actress in the universe's gang, considering the ML's entire mercenary team wasn't able to do it and they all died. And they were hardened professionals! But Chubby, Fiery, and Senior were able to take them all out? Really? 🙄🤐
But I will say, Senior can fight!
Chicken to the rescue! Except he's a phoenix in disguise! 🐦‍🔥🐓🤣The scene was much too short though. It's like someone pushed the Easy button. Much too fast and easy considering how much we had to endure the worst actress in the universe! I would have like to have seen her dying a lot more. But instead she lives and is in a coma? How disappointing.

Episode 29. Poor Thirteen! He's so scared he can barely function and yet he is still trying! This is such a different role for Ao Rui Peng. Damn he is a fine actor isn't he? 🥰
Speaking of fine actors, Song Wei Long is so good! It can't be easy filming such an emotionally charged scene with a spandex wearing, overacting bag of wind, i.e., universe's worst actress, and still do such a phenomenal job! Though I guess he's used to filming in front of a green screen so maybe filming with such a terrible actress is easy, he can just pretend it's a green screen!
And super chicken activated!!! So well done! I can actually feel his personality!🐓

Well, not wanting to name names or anything, but there is only one female cop that's part of the team....🤐

Episode 6. Is there some sort of written or unwritten rule that mandates a fucking irritating female always has to get shoehorned into a really great serie with a fantastic cast? Is it cause with too many guys starring in a crime drama they are afraid it will be too gay if they didn't have her? Dang. When is AI going to be advanced enough to get rid of an irritating character completely from a drama. 😏

And the great hero adventuring chicken has been activated! Is he going to rescue Mu Dai himself or lead the ML to find her?

I'm a sucker for simple no-drama love stories. And I love pool!
I also loved Love Me Love My Voice for the same no-drama reason!

omg this leopard lady couldn't act her way out of a paper bag could she? Seriously, is this someone's girlfriend or daughter or niece or something cause I have no idea why they would hire someone for this role who was so extremely terribly horribly bad at acting! The 'Engrish' is bad enough but the cartoon villainess monologs and laughter is like fingernails on a chalkboard. She really needs to be sitting in a chair stroking a hairless cat saying 'no Mr. Bond, I expect you to die. bwahahahaha'🙄
There are so many really good actresses out there. I'll bet if they even pretended to look around they could have found one that even speaks English!

The 'Engrish' scenes remind me in a bad way of the way 'Engrish' was spoken in one of my favorite dramas, Amidst a Snowstorm of Love. The 'Engrish' scenes always took me out of the story and if it weren't for the main actors would have ruined it completely for me. 🫨
OMG, who can forget the scenes where the 2 announcers at the tournament were having their casual 'Engrish' chat. It was so fucking bad it hurt my ears! 🙉
