Agreed. Fan Zhi Xin has something about him that is so darned addictive. Mesmerizing is a good description for him. And I just love him playing these morally grey characters.

Just for grins I started watching the Girl Who sees Smells. 5 minutes in and I was already irritated! Girl walks in on serial killer after he kills her parents. Just stands there watching him minor hyperventilating while he starts choking her. Until the clock strikes 10 when somehow she magically is able to break loose, run out the door, proceed to outrun him up a very steep path....into the path of a car and boom. 193 days later she wakes from a coma and the cop is cosplaying as her father cause she lost her memory. Oh, and she 'sees' smell that look like giant dust bunnies. And it's caused by her eye changing color? What? Yep, I'm already cheering on the serial killer.

Darn, sorry you didn't like My CEO! I think it helped that I watched it as it was released with a couple of other people and we all had lovely snarky things to say while it was ongoing. Really raised my enjoyment factor 100%!

13 episodes in and I am loving this series! I won't even try to understand the ratings on MDL. I am enjoying this so much and that's all that matters to me. 😂
I've loved the ML in past dramas I've seen and he doesn't disappoint in this one either. He is the king of shy little smiles isn't he? Adorable. 😍
The FL surprises me. I have actually disliked her a lot in everything I've seen her in. She has represented everything I despise about FL's in cdramas. Stringy bangs (sorry, I think stringy bangs are evil! Commit to one or the other: bangs or no bangs. They look like really bad forehead comb-overs. I don't understand?), high pitched toddler voice, any description of a FL that incudes the word 'bubbly'...but this role has completely changed my mind. I am loving her! She IS the Cat Lord!🐈 As a fan of the novel I can't see anyone else playing the role now. She is simply perfection! 🥰
And the actress playing the snake lord? Gorgeous! I haven't seen her in anything before but after this I hope we see her in a lot more. 🤩

Now if YouKu would just quit finish fucking around with audio and subtitles. 🙄No, I don't want to hear the dialog in Thai, I want to hear Mandarin please! And the subs need to be English! How does it get messed up constantly on web version, AppleTV version, and iPhone version. Every show I watch on YouKu tries to change to audio Thai and subs Mandarin. Frustrating. And there aren't any good controls either. If I try to pause and FWD on my AppleTV the app seems to lose it's brain!
Probably why a lot of people, me included, watch all YouKu shows on another platform, shady or not.😏
