I may be too pessimistic here. I guess it's too early to tell for sure if it's going to go the Psych-Hunter route or not 🙄 There are just too many similarities setup-wise that makes me think it may go that way. Yes, she the daughter of the local warlord so I can foresee issues ahead with that storyline. Yep, they always have to add the FL in to 'degay' the stories and get past the censors. But watch it and see what you think. The MLs have a good chemistry and bantering. I don't think the story takes itself seriously 😉

LOL! Just for grins I checked out the calendar for The Double. Wow. Let's see, that's a pile of flat rocks, that's a plate of white round rocks, that looks like a take out container from a chinese restaurant, is that a rock with blood on it, or lava? 🤣 And zooming in doesn't help does it? It just makes it a bigger blur! It's nice to know we can always count on the folks here to help us out 😂
Episodes 1-4. The 2 MLs are great together. Nice chemistry and eye candy. The acting is a bit over the top, bordering on bad, but it is a short episodes series so I'm used to that. I probably shouldn't be laughing at some of the places I'm laughing but...like when the bad guy spots them before he runs away he does a little leap into the air like a cartoon villain. Zoink!🦹 And why do they shout so much?🙉 I am loving the stylist's choices. Both MLs look great. 🥰And I love the premise, even though it's been done many times before. The ML puts himself into the killer's mind to figure out the crime. 🧠

It's ruined what would have been some of my favorite mystery/crime/supernatural series: Psych-Hunter, My Roommate is a Detective, Detective L, Tientsin Mystic, Insect Detective 1 & 2, most of the Medical Examiner Dr. Qin series, most of the Lost Tomb series, etc. etc.

Yeah the marriage is off!👏 Or is it just delayed? 🤔ML gets shipped off to die.💀 Looks like from the previews he 'divorces' the FL. 🥺But it seems she still doesn't know from the previews of 13 and 14 who she really is and who he really is? I can never tell what the hell the pictures on these drama calendars are supposed to represent. And the image quality is so bad it's impossible to guess. For 12-13 looks like a slap? For 14-15 it's a pool of water surrounded by rocks with a portable television? 🤣

I couldn't quite tell from the dialog?🤷♀️ Love how the FL's body remembers she's a badass assassin!🥷 I find it hard to feel any sort of sympathy to the delusional lady who for some reason thinks being a concubine is the end all and be all of existence and decided she was going to be the ML's 🙄 WTF, delusional concubine wannabe has taken the doctor like that?😒 How long before the secret is out? The delusional concubine wannabe knows who he is since she wanted to be his. When are the good guys going to realize that they just need to kill the bad guys on the spot. Taking them away for questioning means they are going to get away somehow😤 ok, now this is breaking my heart. The FL all excited because the ML (unbeknownst to her) is getting married and she gets to make cups for the wedding💔 The goodbye was also heartbreaking, especially since the FL doesn't know it's forever since he's going away to marry his cousin ick🥺
I dropped back in here to try and convince myself to finish this drama but it looks like no one is watching it? Not a lot of feedback here. 🤔 I was originally watching it on WeTV and thought I would finish it on Viki cause their playback controls are so much better. But Viki only has 8 episodes? So did this series do so badly that Viki never even bothered to finish airing it? Episodes 1-16 were quite fun and enjoyable. It's only after the leads went back to his home and the palace intrigue shit started happening that I lost interest. And then to see the spoiler review of how this is a BE and how it ended... Anyhow, anyone who has finished it, was it worth it? Or is it just too heartbreaking to complete? TIA!
