Agree! My brightness is turned up as much as it will go and it's still so dark. Her home is almost impossible to see 😢

🤗 Someone who gets it! 😂 So far first episode, no comedy in 45 minutes. Very dark color-wise and rather dreary and angsty.
And if you have beretaphobia look out, the FL has like a hundred different berets!
ML is gorgeous though so I'll stick around for a bit. He does seem a bit dickier than his past shows, if that is possible. 🤭
So far some interesting wardrobe choices but no outright stapled stuff or cutouts, or basting to be seen 😉

I have a rule of thumb, if the FL is wearing a beret I'm probably going to hate the series and usually won't even bother watching it.🤣 Especially on the poster.🤣 I'm going to give this one a try, but we'll see. Just from the beret here's what I'm afraid I'll see with the wardrobe: the CVS receipt stapled to the suit or suits cut in half and sewn together with other suits that don't match or weird basting stiches on the outside or weird cutouts that don't make sense or strange shit just glued to a suit. For some reason the above are always paired with a beret. 😂

woah, he is not likeable at all so far in The Long Ballad! How long does it take for him to stop being a murderous psychopath and turn into a loving SML? I actually watched up to episode 33 and I thought he was going to change but nope, back to wanting to kill the FL all the time, even if the emperor doesn't want her to die!

Episode 17. After this episode (omg the first kiss scene) I think I now understand why people 'ship' actors who are starring in series/movies together. My lord, these 2 are really perfect for each other aren't they? I almost wish they were really dating in real life! (off to watch the Long Ballad now) 😘
(Of course just a couple of episodes ago he was having her whipped and was basically tormenting and brutalizing her so....things could change! 😂)

I just watched what is I think the trailer you were talking about with the portrait. Lots of missing faces and new faces. I didn't see anything with her between a pile of bodies though. I'm not sure I want to! 😭

I'm pretty sure Kang Ju and Shrimp aren't going to make it. Just cause that's the way these stories go! 🥹 Who else do you think? Probably the accountant and Loud (can't remember his name?) too. Maybe Cao Da will die trying to save someone. Or we could be surprised and everyone lives happily ever after? 🤔

Episode 16 and Kang Ju is fast becoming my favorite character. 🥰He is a kickass fighter, constantly rescues everyone, is good for heart to heart talks, great for comedy relief. This means he's not going to make it till the end, right? 😨
