i saw the prerelease clip where they’re handing off the key to youngro, so if they’re gonna fail i’m curious to see in whose hands it’ll ultimately end up in :o

i find myself falling into the trap of trusting previews (for shows/media in general) so often, i really gotta remind myself of that 😭 now when the real plot twist of the ep ends up being something completely different..

i get the feeling youngro’s gonna get caught right away (like it’s not as dire as the preview makes it out to be) and that it’s just a distraction for something else :o

also i wonder what hana’s gonna be up to (both in this ep and for the long game / that reporter she approached)

i laughed (and then was Pained) when i saw that too 😭 honestly if the show follows the parallel trend i feel like the kiss scene from the poster is gonna be sooho’s one way ticket moment.. with the dream stopping when they’re abt to kiss 😭

ok but seriously - i am really liking how the ensemble cast comes together / bounces off of each other. maybe it helps that i’m a fan of the team’s prev work sky castle (man.. the cameo of the former headmistress 😭😭😭) so the even the scenes with the mothers are fun to me?

….. though i will say the gossip session that took the cake for me this ep was the one of kangmoo/boon ok/the ahjussi. fun chemistry overlaying crucial info:D

i’m obsessed the soulmate parallels.. from the classic hana & kangmoo getting shot at and disillusioned, to my personal fave boon ok and spy joo getting chewed out (by sooho)…………and of course the Main Ship betraying and holding each other hostage 😭 tru romance

his death was only reported and it wasn’t explicitly shown on screen, which is prob why people are theorizing that he’s still alive. personally i think he’s alive too but is in critical condition

just listened to the newly dropped ost to get in the mood:D so happy that they released both the kor and eng ver!! though i do love all the songs in the show so far, something about looks like a real thing is just so.. sweet and calming. (unlike the plot 😭 which i guess makes it stand out more to me? i mean it’s def my fave atm hehe)

wouldn’t be surprised if it continues til the end of the drama! in the last teaser it seemed like kangmoo was intercepting the nk radio, so maybe this weeks eps are to expose the nk plans (aka the start of dismantling gyeokchan indoctrination arc??) and the next week exposes that the sk officials are also using the hostage situation.

the ansp will probably try to find a way to kill 13 girls since this is the perfect cover + nk wants the spies dead so whether they’re in the dorm or not, i feel like they’ll all have ample reason to interact 😭 but i’m also curious as to how exactly they’ll have to collab!!! i’m really excited to see how all these diff backgrounds/expertise will outsmart those outside:D

my main kdrama rec for this time period is yom x_x i cant think of anything else off the top of my head unfortunately!

……and tbh i also thought that he was in similar Inner Turmoil at the end of ep 6 😭 that smirk looked so sad to me

sky castle (petty politics, gossiping moms), d.p. (action/military, not romance, jhi lead), or come and hug me (centers on ill fated tragedy romance, youngro’s father as the antagonist) ? not sure what aspects/actors you like in snowdrop particularly so these are more general recs hehe
