i think boonok is a great character! it helps that she’s played by one of my fave actresses.. but tbh i think i also am fond of her because she echoes some people i care about irl.

some people unfortunately never learned what unconditional love looks like, whether it’s because they refused to see it or simply weren’t given it as a kid. i’m not saying that excuses anything (honestly reprimanding them when needed + letting them experience the consequences of their actions = love :p) but how can they show it if they don’t understand it’s importance?

i also don’t intend to say that we are directly responsible and have to greatly help boonok types (at the cost of ourselves.) a lot of this is also mostly aimed at younger people who are like boonok & boonoks age as well lol (like no way i’m taking preschool petty behavior from someone older, who’s supposed to look after the younger gen?????)

i just think any love and support (in any form) you show to someone like boonok would not go to waste. even though i may condemn any wrongdoings, i would still support them as what they are, a person.

edit: it might take them time to understand the support, just like how boonok keeps acting the way she does, but it doesn’t mean the love you show them doesn’t mean anything. (it also doesn’t mean that the care youngro and mrs pi show boonok doesn’t exist.)

i adore youngro quite a lot, i think she really represents the meaning of “snowdrop.” she endures, and even in less than ideal environments, she can thrive :) despite her circumstances (in spite of?) she’s benevolent and empathetic, who encourages and believes the best in people even when they’re branded as outcasts or controversial - her brother, boonok, her dorm seniors. but i also like how she’s not a total push over and also recognizes her own worth (when she stood up to her mother.. yes girl😭)

obviously she’s not perfect and acts recklessly (also who wouldn’t go crazy after when ur bro died😭) but she’s no malicious force lol.

not all characters may be on the same wavelength and hate her/find her foolish, but i’m just happy that she met someone like sooho ;u; it’s nice that someone cares and understands her, and shows her the same benevolence when she’s at her lowest. (when sooho teared up looking at the necklace yet still shielded her from everything.. girl that’s tru lov😭)

honestly both? 😭 i typically like characters like his anyway, but it def substantially helps that haein (one of my personal fave kactors rn) plays him lol. maybe it would be more accurate to say that sooho is one of my fave chars atm thanks to the push of good casting:D

i’m surprised at how much i love both main chars - in most ensemble cast medias my faves are never the mains lol. my fave ships are rarely the mains too actually 😭 but i love how sooho and youngro have a similar kind of innocence/clumsy air? individually and together i enjoy them a lot!
