Nope, duty after school is a group of students gathering together to kill aliens that infested the earth. I didn't watch it myself but I heard the ending isn't good.
I went to read the manhwa itself because I'm intrigued by how the story will unfold, and I must tell you guys, THIS IS A MUST-WATCH! IT'S SO GOOD AND SATISFYING THE WAY THE FEMALE LEAD HANDLED THOSE SNAKES! But I think they will change the plot like they usually do. But, to those who are in a dilemma whether if they should watch or not, the answer is YES!
As someone who has read the novel, I'll tell you what happened. (NOTE: I am still at Episode 4 of this remake, so I'm citing of what I recall from the novel by using the names of the original characters but I've placed the brackets of the characters of Stay With Me to avoid your confusion. )
After Bai Luoyin ( Su Yu) and Gu Hai （Wu Bi) got into the hospital and Wu Bi, was pushed into the operating theatre, Gu Hai's cousin (Zhao Bo Er) turned up, and Bai Luoyin (Su Yu) that he knows that it's Gu Hai's cousin (Zhao Bo Er) who did something to the car, causing the car to go haywire and hence, causing the accident.
Then after the confrontation, Bai Luoyin (Su Yu) told Gu Hai's cousin (Zhao Bo Er) to tell Gu Hai (Wu Bi）that he (Su Yu) is already dead.
After that, it's the 8-year time skip.
Gu Hai (Wu Bi) became a business man, he named his company after him and Bai Luo Yin (Su Yu) but during those 8 years, he never gave up on searching for Bai Luo Yin (Su Yu).
While Bai Luo Yin (Su Yu) got into the airforce on Gu Hai's (Wu Bi) behalf.
The two then met and sparks began to fly again of course, there were some dramas in-between but they eventually got over it.
I doubt that the plot of Stay With Me is going to stick with the original novel coz the original idea is what got Addicted banned in China.

Webtoon ended in season 1, but season 1 didn't exactly stick to the original webtoon. I went to read the webtoon coz I'm curious if the plot are the same. Firefighter lady is not the original character from the webtoon, she's written out. Most of her scenes belongs to Sangwook. And the brother turned into a monster to protect everyone from harm, his monstrous form is this meat block that covers up the roof so that the rest can escape.
And the romance line is Hyunsu and Jisu, not Hyunsu and Eun Yoo.
Waited so many years for the sequel but it didn't live up to my expectations. I am so disappointed in Season 2.... 3 characters from season 1 got wrote off in the first 3 episodes just like that.... (Justice for Jisu) At this point, I don't even know if Song Kang is the lead or that he is the side character coz of the pathetic amount of screen time he has. All screentime is given to that new character, Private Park and the military dude who's always cursing and yelling for no reason....

Anyway, I'm halfway through episode 1 and I must say I love TH's adaption of Cherry Magic.
I hope the kiss scenes that the JP ver robbed from us will be well-placed in this adaptation!
