It was all great until that obnoxious Yoo-ra entered the picture, acting like a jealous wife out of nowhere, lmao. After that, I found myself skipping a lot of scenes just to finish it. But still, I love the three couples. I wish they showed more of their cute scenes, especially Hee-yeon and Eun-ho.
I knew it! They're definitely going to push the season 2 things, because honestly, there's not much going on even though it's already 8 episodes. It's not engaging enough. I'm just hoping it will work again this time, or at least be genuine.
Thoughts about the participants ep 7 and 8:
Kwang Tae is so confusing, lmao. He's making my head hurt. I didn't expect all three guys to choose Seo Kyung. She's cute and mature at the same time, but that's all. I know that maybe Seo Kyung's love language is physical touch or it's just her habit, but she should lessen it a little bit. Yu Jung is so transparent, and her cuteness is very natural! I think she's my second favorite! I also like that she's very vocal about her feelings and how she confronted Kwang Tae.
Ju Won should move on from his ex. He has great chemistry with Yu Jung. For me, their date was the only one that made me feel giddy. Dong Jin should not push himself to move on. It's really evident that he's not yet ready for that. It's been a 13-year relationship, for Pete's sake. Da Hye reminds me of Coco from the first season. She has a great personality as well. It's nice to see her not crying that much anymore. She's strong, and I like her.
I hate seeing Hye Won cry. She seems like a genuine person, and I really like her personality for being considerate of others. It's really hard to admit that they somewhat hated the other girl participant (because it's impossible, if not since we're talking about their exes, not just strangers), but she said it in a good manner.
I don't know about Hwi Hyun. He seems like he's going to like someone else if the other girls pay more attention to him. He's giving me that vibe, but I wish I'm wrong.
If we talk about the cinematography, it's indeed 10 out of 10. It's aesthetically pleasing. The OST is also really good. I love it. I was expecting it to be a slow-burn romance, but I didn't expect it to be that slow. I wish they balanced the romance, but I can't blame them because they need to chase their dreams and be successful on their own. The romance is not the focus here. So if you watch this, don't expect them to flirt, confess, or whatever. They did a little holding hands in the middle, and after that, they had a cute and heartwarming scene in the last episode. After all, it's a series about chasing dreams.
I can't even imagine a 13-year relationship dating a new person that they just met in the show. That's pretty impossible. But anyway, it looks like this season will be more painful than the previous two.
I'm currently in episode 6 and still don't understand the hype for this drama. I don't know if I should continue watching since I really love the actors, but I just can't feel the chemistry.
I'm a sucker for romance and not a fan of historical dramas. There are so many good reviews about this, so I didn't hesitate to watch it. Still not yet done, but I just want to say I'm living for Jang Hyun's genuine love for Gil Chae! I didn't regret watching this, although I cried a lot and probably will cry more in the next few episodes. I love it already. I'm in love with the characters, especially Jang Hyun!
