This is the first historical Chinese drama I ever watched. Although some things were stupid and I also skipped a lot of scenes, it was quite a good watch if you are looking for a strong and funny female lead with a second couple that has great chemistry as well. What made this drama amazing was how confident the female lead was despite the judgments of others about her. She was not your typical main character, but you'll appreciate her more because of that. The three couples here were so wholesome, including the mom. Anyway, I think some would like it and others wouldn't. It depends on your personal preference. The romance and comedy were both good, so personally, I liked it.
Soo Young and Yoon Park have great chemistry! I hope they will work together again in the future because they really look so cute together! Anyway, it was a good watch. It was short but cute and will tell you some things that famous people experience in their lives. That's why you shouldn't hate them just because of rumors or because you simply dislike them. They're also normal humans behind the cameras. I recommend this if you are looking for a very short series with fantastic chemistry and little drama. I just wish they showed in the ending that the two hang out with the kid. That would be wholesome.
I really liked her (more than the SFL honestly) in Seasons of Blossom. She pulled off the sarcastic/snarky eye-rolling…
Same with me. I liked her acting more than the sfl. I also liked how tiny she was but had a cat personality, lmao. Although I expected that ending, I did ship Yun Jin and Hyun Soo a little bit. I mean, she had great chemistry with both guys.
I'm on episode five, and it's really rare for me to cry to a romantic series that doesn't have any tragedy on it. This is the only love triangle (although it's not really a love triangle) I ever bawled my eyes out. I can't hate these three, especially Minato. He's indeed a nice person. I just love them all.
i think this is the most well-written cdrama i've seen so far. do you have any recommendation? im kinda tired of rom-com with the same cliche and cringe moments.
I have a lot of things to say about this movie. First, I watched it because I was expecting it to make me cry my heart out, but in the end, it just made me so confused about everything. Don't get me wrong; I liked the movie, especially the first half. It was so sweet and wholesome, like there were no irritating love triangles, and the misunderstanding between the two girls didn't affect their friendship. Let's not forget how concerned Bo Ra was for her friend. However, there were so many unanswered questions. First on the list: why did he die? What's the reason? I understand the open ending, but obviously Joseph and Bo Ra talked, so I don't understand why he didn't mention the reason, and she did not even bother to ask? Second, the lack of emotion after she learned he died. Yeah, I get that it was 20 years ago, but it was still shocking, right? Everyone would be shocked to learn that their first love, whom they thought had ghosted them, had died. Or is it just me? Anyways, third, what happened to Hyun Jin and Yeon Doo? Were they still friends or what? Fourth, why did Hyun Jin never know about Woon Ho's death? I mean, they're best friends, right? And even if he did not know about it, there should be a scene wherein Bo Ra and Hyun Jin talk to each other about the disappearance of Woon Ho. After all, they're connected to each other. Additionally, it would be great if we also saw Hyun Jin's reaction to that. I'm confused. Despite the rant, it was still a good watch. I loved the friendships. It's just that I was expecting something different.
Their improv was great. Ruined that b!+¢#'s scheme. She's so obsessed
I feel annoyed while staring into her face. The actress is great, lol. But in the trailer, they showed that Qin Shi and Li Dai smiled at each other genuinely. I suppose there's a plot twist to their relationship? Not sure, but I'm not going to be surprised if that happens.
I said I would watch one episode only, but I finished watching the first eight episodes in just one sitting. If you're looking for comedy with good chemistry between the couples, this is a good one. I think this is the only k-drama I've finished quickly this year. Anyways, I hope it will have a second season. I miss them already!
I wish they focused more on So Mang and Ha Min's story because the shifting of scenes was kind of random. I mean, we're watching the sad scene, and then suddenly they're going to show us two people smiling sweetly at each other. It's like watching two different stories in one k-drama, although I know that they all had similarities and were related. I also wish they'd made it longer, because there were some things I couldn't understand. Obviously, because I didn't read the webtoon. I will, maybe, if I have time.
Some actors don't know how to act. It's weird, but they're new to acting, so I understand. I also loved how they all had good chemistry, especially Sun Hee and Jin Young. I thought at first they were the endgame, lol. I also loved the scenes where Jin Young, Sun Hee, and his friends were hanging out and eating together.
I have a lot to say about Bo Mi's character, but since she learned her lesson in the end, it's better to just move on.
Anyway, it's a nice short ride, although not as painful as I had anticipated but nonetheless soothing.
Are there any dramas with Esther that you would recommend? preferably good plot and romance.I enjoyed her in Find…
love between fairy and devil is amazing! if you like slow pacing and long but cute chemistry, try to watch moonlight. if you're into multiple couples and amazing friendship between girls, check out youth.
Did I enjoy the series? Yes. It has a lot of plot holes, but the main leads' chemistry carried the whole show. I honestly don't care about the plot anymore since the very start. Vin Zhang's visual is just too satisfying to look at.
Would I recommend it to others? Uhm, I don't know. I'm a fan of Esther, but I'm well aware of her annoying voice. But she's just like a ball of sunshine, full of cuteness! Additionally, I think she still needs to improve her acting because sometimes it's just too unnatural. On the other hand, she has great chemistry with Vin Zhang. It's just a pity that this series is not well-written enough.
It's my first time watching Vin Zhang, and I think this will never be the last. I just really love him, lmao. I started this for Esther, and stayed because of him.
Oh, one thing that I want to mention is that even though I skipped the second lead's scenes, the bromance between the two students of Zhuang Yu is just wholesome! I couldn't stop smiling whenever they were on screen!
The female lead probably has the most beautiful smile in the world. Everything just brightens up whenever she…
It's really rare for me to find a drama where you can love the side couples as much as you love the main couple. The three side couples here didn't make me skip their scenes because they're just so cute, mature, and funny. I love the idea that each couple had their own good role in the series, and the fact that they all have amazing chemistry. I would definitely recommend this if you're looking for a rom-com Chinese drama! This is so good!
